How's it going RE #38! I appreciate you for giving me the time to ask you a few questions. In this interview, I will ask you a couple of questions so I and people can get to know you better, including ISFL GMs! Let's begin with describing your experience with the triple B from Scouting/Draft Day to today?
RE #38-BBB-QB
I've loved it. It's well known that I had some strong ties to Tijuana from my last player but when Jenni reach out to me to scout me I was enamored with BBB. It's been a fun LR even with the rough start to the season. I'm also glad I got to play QB for them too!
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Its always good to test out a LR and see how good it is compared to your last! What do you hope to accomplish with your player in this career?
RE #38-BBB-QB
I just hope to help a team however I can. If that's being active in an LR then that works for me. I'd like to earn TPE pretty well too. My last player I was in and out of activity so I hope to keep RE #38 going strong and break at least 1000 tpe
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Cool, sounds like a plan! I know personally that whenever we verse BBB we don't go into it thinking the words "tune up game." Haha. What your pre game routine alone and with your team?
RE #38-BBB-QB
I usually spend about 2-4 hours in the Sensory Deprivation tank that BBB has in the Locker Room. Then I put headphones in and listen to the Wicked soundtrack while getting dressed. Then I do a small throw around with Lucas Stevenson my wideout. Some light stretching and stuff to stay zoned in.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Sounds like pro pre game! I don't know how they afforded the sensory deprivation tank but I guess winning ULTs gets you money! What is your favorite hobby?
RE #38-BBB-QB
RE #38 is huge into fishing. My dad didn't do it, but my grandfather did of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. So being in Bondi has really been a blessing. Went from lake fishing in the Berkshires in Mass to some of the best deep sea fishing in Australia. RE basically blows any disposable income on fishing. Doesn't own a boat yet, but rents trips all the time
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Personally I dont have the patience to fish. Maybe it was just that the place I fished had no fish but eh. What's your favorite candy?
RE #38-BBB-QB
That's a tough one. I don't think I'm too much into branded American candy bars. But give me a good piece of fudge anyday. Any flavor too. It's so good.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
I love anything chocolate. If anyone knows Coldstone I get the Chocolate Devotion every time with no shame haha. Is there a team or teams that you would like to go to on draft day?
RE #38-BBB-QB
I would like to go back to the Colorado Yetis. My last player was an IA mess and they still gave me a home so I would like to repay that kindness with a good player.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Awesome! I understand going back to the team you played on before, the memories are too good. What did you do before the DSFL? For example in college and/or highschool.
RE #38-BBB-QB
I played in high school in Boston, MA. Wasn't really anything special and to get away from the city went to Berkshire Community College out west. Got into lifting while playing for their team. Played both sides of the ball as a Edge/TE just using my size and strength. Even still today I would classify RE #38 more as an Athlete than any specific position.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Athletes are very high valued as they can play multiple positions. What's your favorites video game?
RE #38-BBB-QB
RE #38 usually just plays Madden when he's got the time. He loves to just relocate teams. Goes back to the older versions of Madden ISFL before EA ruined the video game. Loves moving the "founding six" teams to new places.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Sound's like fun! Being a northeastern guy you might just go to NYS! Is there anyone you want to thank for their help during your careers?
RE #38-BBB-QB
Big shoutout to Mary Marie for helping me settle in BBB. Blacksmith Andre for protecting my backside. And former Adders teammate Josh Patterson for keeping me motivated.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
Ah yes, Mary, arguable the best saftey in the S41 class(there is very little chance Rico will see this haha). Josh is a great personality and user and I enjoy talking to him a lot. Is there anything you want to say to any ISFL GMs listening? Then you can ask me questions if you have any.
RE #38-BBB-QB
Like I said above. I would like to go to COL. I just want to give them a good solid player for a career since they were kind to my mostly IA Triple Option lol. What was the thoughts behind all these interviews? You've done so many.
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
I thought that I should get to know the rooks better and just get to know the rooks that I didnt scout. Especially the active chatters and top prospects. I also did it so that GMs could take the interviews for consideration during scouting.
RE #38-BBB-QB
nice! they've been great reads. I appreciate you reach out to me!
(Host)Lukas Van Ness-NOLA-LB
I also had a great time interviewing you! Well readers this has been the VanCast hosted by your very own LVN. If you are interested in getting your name out there in an interview hit me up on Discord it's Ajax#3214. Hope to see you next time on the VanCast!
