In the game of football, we make the greatest of friends and companions. Our teammates are not just football players, but they can be people we look up to as well. My teammate, the living legend himself Not Edd, is one of a kind. The selflessness he displays daily is impeccable, both on and off the field. He is not playing a lot on the field, but still makes sure to train himself and others around him to ensure the team as a whole is continuing to get better. He is also quite the funny dude, probably one of the funniest I know inside our team’s locker room. Not Edd is never lacking when it comes to cracking a joke or two and lightening up the overall team morale. We have all recommended him to do stand-up one day. And lastly, a little known secret, Not Edd is amazingly enough the team’s head chef. When he’s not throwing dimes, he’s inside squeezing limes.
If there was a player on the Cape Town Crash who has a team first mentality, it would Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin, aka JHM. Without him, the offense would not be as efficient and the team would not have won the ultimus last season. He always tries to create an opening for other players to get a big advantage for more yards (like Ayame for example). He’s also a great alternative receiving option if one of the wideouts can’t get to a ball. Another team-friendly player is Creg Jerrith IV, he’s another key reason why the Cape Town Crash won the ultimus last season. He spreads the offensive wealth between everyone, but sometimes gets too friendly and turns the ball over. He’s also a great person to hang around the locker room when you need someone to talk to and always gives valid advice when you need it. There’s more users who I can shout out here, but the Crash are a great group to hang around.

Mike Gesicki has been blessed with quite a few great teammates that have really helped his growth as a player. Zeagle has been a great mentor, teaching me the ins and outs of the isfl while being a python. He's also one of the most active people in the locker room and helps everyone around him. I would also like to thank mynameisphil for being the most selfless person on the team. He's the most active in the locker room, being one of my favorite members of the pythons. He's also done well despite terrible luck, not having any sacks and little success. But Phil just puts his head down and goes back to making graphics for the team and doing everything he can to help the team and be active in the locker room. Lastly, I want to thank Pugwalrus for being a great GM and making it incredibly fun to be a Portland python.

Thomas Sutha didn't really expect to make a big splash, or be in the DSFL at all, he finds himself on team that has a lot of veteran (for DSFL) presence on the defensive side of the ball, which is great for him and fellow rookie CB Paul Dosza. Along with the management and vision of the Ducks, Sutha's found himself being able to rely on Chaos Vert to erase half the field, anchoring the secondary by removing the opposing WR1, leaving Thomas able to make plays and swat down passes.
Now that Thomas is moving to WR, he finds himself in a bot heavy offense, but he knows that THE RONALD SHRUBBERY will be able to shoulder a huge portion of the run and pass game, as well as two time Grey Duick offensive player of the week Zisia Ojeisndiwoseodj being there to throw him some tight spirals. Thomas hopes that he'll be able to build some chemistry now that he's on the other side of the ball, as well as relishing being able to go against fellow rook Paul Dosza and challenge the INT master Chaos Vert. There's really only one choice in the Birddogs Locker room for a player who has gone above and beyond the line of duty: Octavion Speedings. In a difficult offseason devastated by callups, the Birddogs found themselves without a Quarterback for the upcoming season, not counting Not Edd, who at that point had not earned anything and still has not actually applied anything he earned. In their time of need, Dallas had to go to their emergency Quarterback and ask him to play out of position for the upcoming season. That player happened to be Speedings, who had not played QB and had been a Wide Receiver for over half a decade, but due to the dire circumstances he agreed to step up. Speedings has been one of, if not the single worst QB in the league thus far, but that's not something that anyone should fault him for. He's been put in an impossible situation, and is admirably doing his best in that situation.
The best teammate on the Austin Copperheads is probably Charlie Brown, the squad's kicker. His name and position are of course the butt of all kinds of jokes, but he is a good sport about it and even chimes in himself from time to time. He also is always joking around, making others feel included, and picking people up after a bad performance. He's been one of the best additions the team over the last few seasons and Geralt is happy to have him as a teammate.
On the other hand, the best teammate on offense has to be Oliver Tolliver. The speedy receiver has been a quick riser into stardom but has not allowed the extra fame and pressure get to him. He's remained calm, kept his head down, and always been willing to help out anywhere on the field. He's perhaps not as outspoken as some others, but his actions speak louder than his words and the team is very lucky to have him as well.
For Tyler Hunt, his opinion on who the best teammate is on the NORFOLK SEAWOLVES is as follows:
Stetson David, the "veteran" wide receiver, is the epitome of an ultimate team player in the game of football. Not only does he possess exceptional skills on the field, but he also goes above and beyond to support his teammates both on and off the field. Stetson's selflessness and commitment to putting the team first are evident in every aspect of his game and his interactions with his fellow players. One of the most remarkable qualities of Stetson is his unwavering dedication to his teammates' success. He understands that football is a team sport, and he embraces his role as a wide receiver to ensure that the offense functions smoothly. Stetson is always willing to sacrifice personal glory for the greater good of the team. He consistently makes selfless plays, whether it's laying down a crucial block to spring a teammate for a touchdown or drawing away defenders to create space for other receivers. Off the field, Stetson is a true leader and a great locker room presence. He understands the importance of fostering a positive and supportive environment. Stetson is known for his ability to uplift his teammates, offering words of encouragement and motivation when they need it the most. He recognizes that building strong relationships and camaraderie is essential to a successful team, and he actively works to create a culture of unity and trust. Despite his remarkable contributions to the team, Stetson often flies under the radar and doesn't receive the recognition he deserves. He plays an important but unappreciated role on the team, as his efforts often go unnoticed by the general public and awards committees. However, his teammates and coaches know the true value he brings to the team. They recognize his exceptional route-running skills, his reliable hands, and his ability to read defenses, all of which contribute significantly to the team's success. In addition to his on-field talents, Stetson's professionalism and work ethic set an example for everyone around him. He consistently puts in the extra effort in practice, studying game film meticulously, and working on his craft to improve his skills continuously. Stetson's dedication to his craft is infectious, inspiring his teammates to strive for greatness and pushing them to be their best selves. Overall, Stetson David is the epitome of a great teammate and an ultimate team player. His selflessness, leadership, and dedication to the team are second to none. Whether it's sacrificing personal glory, providing unwavering support, or embodying a strong work ethic, Stetson's contributions extend far beyond his statistics. He is a vital part of the team's success, and his presence is invaluable both on and off the field.
The London Royals roster is ripe with talented teammates to pick from for this task but one I want to point out that I don't think get's nearly enough recognition in our Locker Room is @Twenty6 This teammate is playing in the ISFL on Sundays but still takes time out of his weeks to help out London as much as possible and we couldn't have any success without his contributions. Not only is he a wiz when it comes to Sim Testing, and making sure we get the most out of the team on the field, but he is also crucial with helping us build our new recruits and getting them the most out of their players to maximize not only stats but also their fun! I don't use the word irreplaceable lightly, but it is apt when talking about what Twenty6 brings to our Locker Room. From Strategy to Personality, this guy has it all. When he was traded for last week, I knew why. Dude's an All-Star. So here's to Twenty6, and all he does for us in London! Huzzah!
Quote:Written option: In the game of football, you need to rely on your teammates on and off the field, yet there are specific ones that go above and beyond for the team. Which teammate of yours is the ultimate team player and why? How does this person exhibit selflessness and put the team first? Are they a great locker room presence who encourages others? Do they play an important but unappreciated role on the team which doesn't receive much recognition for awards? Write about how great they are! I would say Twenty6 is a great teammate who has been very selfless and helpful with my running back build and helping me prioritize certain things to have a great and efficient career. Even though he was just traded away to another team he is still helping the Chicago butchers with builds when asked. A true team player in a small scope like Chicago and a large scope like the league. I will always appreciate someone going out of their way to help others to succeed. I think the other person I want to say is a great teammate and I promise this is me not sucking up to my General Manager, but TheCC is helping me put out stats since Week 4 of the season. He is giving my player more opportunities and has been transparent with me about a lot of things which is something I need out of a General Manager. Code: 154 words |
