What everyone sees one GameDay is Field Goals, Extra Points and long bomb punts. But what they don't see is the locker room presence that Booter McGavin @ajtigger brings to San Jose. He is the locker room DJ. If you have requests, he won't play them. BUT, he will let you know your music taste is trash (unless you request Conway Twitty). He is also our resident birthday planner! We haven't had any parties yet, but he does always remember to bring a box of his broken golf tees as a gift. He keeps a calendar of important dates for teammates so he can make sure to remind them he can't make it to whatever the event is. In all seriousness, AJ has been a fantastic part of San Jose for the better for almost exactly 3 years now!!! His presence has been positive and encouraging and we absolutely love having him around! I know he sometimes feels like his player let's us down, but I've never felt that way and hope we continue to see Booter kick his way into SJS legend status!
If I had to pick one player in Minny who exemplifies team spirit, it would be Thomas Sutha. He came in as a corner and switched to receiver after he saw that the offense was struggling. While the switch from corner (a thankless position) to receiver (a stat driven position) may not seem altruistic, he did it for team first reasons. And after he changed positions, the offense got hot and now we sit at the top of the division. Sutha also goes above and beyond off the field. Whenever a Duck has a performance good enough to earn offensive or defensive PotG, he memorializes their efforts with a custom made graphic. It really is a great way for players to look back on the season and see their accomplishments in a tangible way. With the effort he has been putting in, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sutha go early in the first round this upcoming draft.

Donovan Winters is the ultimate team player. He is always willing to share everything. Whether it is sharing snacks in the locker room or sharing his football knowledge in the film room. Winters is a great teammate. As the quarterback, he has a larger responsibility to lead the team. He runs the offense and has significant input on everything the team does. On the field, he's a great communicator and makes sure that everyone is on the same page. Off the field, he helps improve everyone's morale by handling disputes and encouraging communication. Most of the disputes are about food because our team is full of fatass people who happen to be good at football. Doritos can be a common argument as we have bags of them in the facility. It's not just teammates that Donovan is great at sharing with. Donovan is great at sharing the football with the opposing team. Look at how many interceptions he throws.

Harley Andrews is the perfect team player on our squad. He does so much more than just being a good locker room guy, sometimes you would think he runs the whole team. He is always there if you need something, if you have a question or if you need some advice on any matter. He has the insights and wits of giving very good advice, and is generally very helpful. If you need something, Harley is there for you, just ask him and he'll lend you a helping hand. Sometimes he even reminds the team to do some training and stuff like that, to - you know - get better as athletes and players. A very important role is the one of fantasy pro - he has all the advice that you need, and is never hesitant to give you the next best pick. Harley is the key piece of the locker room and the team. Kudos to you HAndrews!
The unsung hero of the Arizona Outlaws is without question Fortified Fridge. Everyone knows that games are won and lost in the trenches and that’s really where our very own piece of Kitchen hardware operates. While there aren’t too many stats that tell us just how dominant he is, it goes without saying that he has played a pivotal role in the success that we have had over the last few seasons, as he keeps our QBs safe and our running backs marching down the field. Sure, there may have been a few pancakes along the way and that’s great but it doesn’t get this wonderful human being the plaudits he deserves. In addition to his performance on the field, he’s been a fantastic member of the team and a great presence in the locker room. It really does go without saying that the Arizona Outlaws wouldn’t be the team they are today without this incredible user and player.

There are so many great teammates that reside in San Jose it's hard to pick just one. Honestly, everyone is a star teammate, but if I had to pick just one, I guess I would have to go with my Quarterback, Owen Farrell, aka @Asked Madden. Besides the fact that if he doesn't give me great gifts, Blacksmith Andre won't snap the ball well, or keep him upright, Owen Farrell has been amazingly open and awesome in welcoming myself back into San Jose. We already know that I have a horrendous sleep schedule, and since he's overseas, it's been pretty awesome to open up and talk to multiple other folks across the pond so to speak, and Asked Madden has been none other then super fun to talk to, we talk shop, animals, and so many other things. He's been such a welcoming person since I came back to San Jose it's been a great time being there with hhim.

It would be extremely difficult to just choose one person that goes above and beyond as there are so many heckin' great teammates on the Bondi beach Buccaneers. Even though we do not play on the same side of the ball Dylan Duma is an emotional leader in the locker room. Dylan is always there for whoever needs it on gameday to give a pick me up if things are not going the right way or someone to continue the hype and joy of a sick play. Bertie Mannering-Phipps is a trusted and true force on the ground game and without them I think our guys would lose direction but our real team emotional leader would need to be Alex Sanchez. Although they are a newer member of the team they have found their step and have quickly become the heartbeat of this locker room. On defense, I would need to give it to my partner in crime Trevor P. You can always count on him to have a huge play and get those tackles when you need them.
