Unless you are avid stream watcher or happen to be on the Fire Salamanders or Butchers, you may have missed history being made in Berlin’s best game of the regular season. A game that featured everything from two 300 yard passers to a first down clinic had something sneak up onto this season’s top performance page. The Fire Salamander running back, Armor Queen, posted a five touchdown game against the Butchers. That’s right. FIVE TOUCHDOWNS! Sitting back and reading this you might not fully understand just how insane that stat line is without any perspective so I have done some looking back at the previous games where a non-quarterback has scored five touchdowns in a single game. The reasoning behind excluding quarterbacks is that it is much more difficult for these players to rack up this stat than it is for a quarterback. While not easy by any means for the talented quarterbacks of the league, it is exponentially more difficult for other spots. So much so that there has not been a wide receiver with a five touchdown game since the sim switch and there have only been four different players to hit this feat with Armor Queen joining this rare group of legendary games.
The last time that we had a five touchdown game…9 seasons ago…
This name pops up the most when it comes to touchdown power and has the most in their career by far. Goat Tank was the last non-QB player to get to five touchdowns and managed to bring them all in on the ground! The amazing feat stands as the Fire Salamanders’ single game rushing touchdown record still even after some talented rushing talent has joined the team. Strangely enough, this was the only time a non-quarterback got five touchdowns and the team ended up losing. The Berlin Fire Salamanders faced the Baltimore Hawks in Week 7 of S33 and were put down on a last minute touchdown pass that ended the crazy day by Goat Tank. Still, this game and the dominant season earned Tank a Running Back of the Year award (back when the ISFL still had positional awards).
Other five touchdown game notes:

Other five touchdown game notes:
- Goat Tank had two other five touchdown games in S32 and S31. Both were against Colorado.
- The only player to only appear once on this list was in S31 with Madison Hayes who crushed the Orange County Otters. Hayes’ game against OCO counted for 1/3 of her total rushing touchdowns that season
- Chizuru Ichinose/Raphtalia Chan (same player but name changed) had five touchdown games under both names. She has the distinction from her peers though as only needing rushing touchdowns in her two games since Goat Tank had one of his three games require a receiving touchdown to get to five.
