Hello all, its been a few seasons since I last posted here and it obviously wasn't met with much enthusiasm (stupid AI checking). But this time, I'm pretty confident this is a good thing for majority of the userbase. Yes, the rumors are true, we are piloting the combined weekly claim that PBE has (thanks to @iStegosauruz for providing the template)! Obviously this is a bigger change for the userbase as a whole, so I'll try to answer some of the FAQ's in regards to this.
-Why are we moving to this new claim system?
The main reason why we want to do this is to reduce the amount of links the user has to link to their update as well as the updaters/auditors that have to verify said links. It should make things smoother and less cluttered as well.
-What will it look like?
Basically it will entail a combined number of TPE for the claim we post. Say for example Week 1, Week 2 and PT 1 are part of the weekly claim, you would get the added total TPE from all 3 single claims. We will then have a link to the spreadsheet breaking down what you earned from each of those tasks.
Also the only ones that won't be affected by these changes are Host City Voting, MOP Voting and Fantasy Claims. Those will be posted as individual claims by HO and Fantasy Head respectively.
-When exactly will claims be posted?
At it's foundation, the same claims each week will be the same ones as the current system, but instead of being posted as early as Monday and throughout the week, it'll all be under that one IRL weekly claim. The target date for each IRL weekly claim will be Thursday. There might be some delays (or faster progression!) to where we may post it on Wednesday night or at the very latest Friday morning.
-What are the negatives to this change?
The biggest "negatives" I can think of are possible delays due to not getting claims as early as Monday as well as not seeing the incremental progress you get to see from a player. However this change will help those who are new user and even cross-league users as it limits the time to update and grab the links from said claims.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. We're excited about this new change but also want to apologize for the possible hiccups, especially this first season. So please be patient with us. Thank you!
