Hello ISFLers!
The Graphics Grading Team is excited to announce a new and simplified graphics grading scale!
1/5 - $100,000
Graphics that receive this grade are generally hastily done or messy photoshops. No changes to render/background, minimal effects, poor text blending, or clear use of an automated program to develop the image define this category.
2/5 - $800,000
Graphics that receive this grade show some effort to be more than a meme and some photo editing skill, however the changes to the render, text, and background are minimal or non-existent, and/or the original logos are still visible on the render.
3/5 - $2,000,000
Graphics that receive this grade show off that the creator has some experience creating graphics. The tools that photoshop or other editing apps provides are starting to be used, and the final product is a respectable graphic. Some flaws could be that the renders are poorly cut, text does not blend with the image, there are only include minimal changes to the background of the submission, or an unaesthetic text/font.
4/5 - $4,000,000
Graphics that receive this grade are ones that we expected season veterans of graphics creation to make more often than not. The text blends with the rest of the signature, but the jersey swap (if applicable) and/or added logos may look a little off. This could also include text/font that does not blend well with the surrounding area, or a background that could still use more improvement.
5/5- $6,000,000
Graphics that receive this grade are perfect. There are no small issues that are holding a signature back whatsoever. The jersey swap (if applicable) is immaculate and the original logos are no longer visible or have been replaced with an ISFL/DSFL/WFC team's logo. If a graphic receives this grade is truly something to be proud of!
And additionally, we have revamped the trading card grading scale, and expanded it to include all template-based graphics (Game Balls, Player of the Week, Draft Graphics, etc):
Template based graphics (Cards, sigs with same backgrounds, game balls or player of the week, etc):
A max of 10 template based graphics may be submitted per week. Submissions will be awarded points on this criteria: text(1), aesthetic(2), and cut (2). A league-related logo should be included on the graphic to be awarded full points.
1/5 - $200,000
2/5 - $500,000
3/5 - $1,000,000
4/5 - $1,500,000
5/5 - $2,000,000
These new scales will take effect tomorrow, August 7th
By decreasing the scale from 7 to 5 points but maintaining the same maximum payout, we are making the distinction between grades more clear and removing some subjectivity without lowering the maximum potential earnings. Please reach out to myself or another member of the team with any questions.
Thank you all,
