Ready to grade
Newly acquired Linebacker for the London Royals Nicholas Gilbert claims he is ready to "get after it" when asked about how he feels for the season. When asked to clarify what "It" was exactly, Gilbert simply responded with "Y'all should know by this point." Sources close to Gilbert claim he means a championship.
Gilbert, who was claimed on waivers is a versatile LB, who comes from the University of Notre Dame. The former Irish committed to ND in his junior year of high school in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. He is very meticulous in his diet and training regime, never straying too far from the routine he has found out that works well for him. In his first game with the Royals, Gilbert was responsible for 6 tackles, helping lead the Royals to victory over the Kansas City Coyotes.
When asked about his performance, Gilbert had this to say,
"I feel like, we had every guy out there with the same goal. Walking in to the locker room, i didn't feel out of place, but more welcomed. When we played today, we had everyone firing on the sae cylinder and i think that is important to winning football games. If we want to win a championship, we need to make sure that we are all playing our best and moving as one solid unit. I know it is early in the season, however, this is a group of guys i believe in."
The Royals next game is against the Seawolves.
