@OrangeJulius has appealed their recent suspension for a code of conduct violation. The original punishment can be found Here
Over the course of the appeal process and upon viewing the relevant messages in various examples and examining previous precedence, the appeals team has determined that the punishment given to the user was excessive and has voted to revise the punishment.
The appeals team has decided to recomend a reduction to Orange Julius' suspension from 8 weeks to 4, ending October 27st. - with the remaining 4 weeks to be converted into a probationary period. The remaining part of the punishment, including the forfeit of discord pay, and the ineligibility to hold any GM position until S47 has been unanimously affirmed.
As we move forward, we kindly remind the entire community to be respectful and mindful of others in all public interactions. Let's continue to uphold the values that make our community a welcoming place for all.
The Team also wants to make it clear that this is a specific case that should not be relied on as precedent for conduct cases moving forward
Appeals Team has voted 5-2 to amend the punishment handed out by the Head Office.
