The Ultimus yesterday was my final game as an ISFL GM. I never expected to be able to go out on such a high note, but I am truly grateful for all the work everyone on the Copperheads put to get us to this point. I love you all.
I started GMing the copperheads all the way back in S33, not even 6 months after being drafted in the 3rd round. Just over 2 years later, I retire with a 101-106-1 record and 1 Ultimus victory. I'm kinda shocked i got so close to being .500 and im sure with a season or 2 I could have broken that, but my time is up. This was an excellent season for me and I'm glad I can smoothly hand it off to @Mooty99 to help lead @PugWalrus into our next era.
Overall, I really loved GMing. Drafting and negotiating trades was so much fun, definitely more enjoyable then actually going out there and watching the team I helped put together go play their games. Maybe I'll come back to it one day, but for now I need a break. I'm no CK, but including PBE I have been GMing for like 2.5 years straight, so I will enjoy my time off and we'll see if it ever works out for my return again one day.
Theres so many people I could tag and thank, but i'm lazy so ill just leave it to @frazzle14 since we gmed together for so long and thank you to anyone who played for Austin, and especially members of the war room. While a toxic wasteland, its our toxic wasteland and i wouldnt want to have done it with anyone else. To get you guys the ultimus you deserve after so much heartbreak over the years is so rewarding.
