Everyone welcome to the first of hopefully not many Bamford mock drafts. With the high demand for mock drafts, and my bank account getting drained by the casino, there’s no better time for a mock.
This mock is using current draft order and post TDL trades and is certifiably the most accurate mock draft ever, let's get into it
1:01- HON - Swantavious Stack - @Swanty - OL -
After Tanksgiving Honolulu isn't left with much anywhere, but the worst of it is on the o line. The Hahalua have 4 extremely low tpe O-linemen and 2/4 of these O-linemen are facing retirement within the next season. Honolulu needs to pick up someone sooner rather than later to lead this team in the trenches. Honolulu gets one of the top earners in the class in a position they desperately need right off the bat, as well as the best offensive line user in history. If they want their rebuild to be successful they need Stack leading their O-line
1:02 - BER - Brad Woof - @Brad Woof - WR -
Berlin is in a rough spot from a team building perspective, half of their key players are entering the later end of their careers while the other half are entering their primes. I know wide receiver isn’t one of their big needs with their wide receiver duo in their primes and Pitter Patter developing in the DSFL, but I think Berlin gets the best user available and makes the rest work. Woof, famous for his legendary media series “The Doghouse”, and being a literal dog, would provide a new spark to them not from a team perspective but from a locker room perspective which is just as important. Woof would also fit in to take over the WR1 duties within 3 seasons and Berlin’s star receivers fight regression
1:03 - HON - Upceti Spaghetti - @Agent Chaos - LB -
Honolulu have zero (0) linebackers young enough to withstand regression long enough for their rebuild. A star LB is a key part of any successful team so the Hahalua need to get their hands on their LB of the future as soon as possible and that’s what they do here. Spaghetti will be the key to any long term success for the team
1:04 - COL - Jonathan Irons - @jadda123876 - WR -
The Yeti are another team in a tough spot, they went from the 1 seed in the north to a bottom 5 team in the league within one season. Despite the setback their team is still young enough to have some long term success. One glaring need they have is at WR. NCADV RAINN is deep into his fight with regression, and Mattrim Cauthon went IA at 300 TPE. Next season, the only good wide receiver on that team is going to be National Treasure which would force their TE duo of the super old Hogmally and Paris-Johnson to step up. You never wanna be in a situation where you have to rely that much on your tight ends, so they take a WR. Irons is a great earner and locker room presence who will provide a much needed passing option for Wolfie McDummy
1:05 - NYS - Tyler Higbee II - @SensibleDictator - TE
Speaking of tight ends, here’s a tight end. The Silverbacks have officially entered a rebuild, although much less aggressive than Honolulu’s. Basically all of their team is quickly entering regression with only 3 players from S42 or later. On the defensive side of the ball, New York seem to have found the beginning of their future core with Perry Passiveman, Lyle Taylor, and Drake Wane. However, on the offensive side things are much more dire, other than Sean Robinson (Who’s S41 and also regressing soon), the Silverback’s youngest offensive player is S39 who are entering the old age homes. While he’s a tight end, Higbee provides someone for their future QB to throw to and can help with their complete lack of an offensive line. As well, Higbee provides a great and super active presence to the locker room
1:06 - CHI - Ricky Ray - @Laurhaus - WR -
Chicago has one of the most exciting young defenses in the league but their offense needs some work. The offense is one of the oldest in the league which doesn’t pair well with a young defense. They already have their answer at RB with Corey Trevor in the DSFL and they’ll be able to address QB later in the draft. Outside of Nah’sim, Chicago’s WR is either old or IA (rip waffle) and Ray comes in to fix that.
1:07 - SJS - Edith Nickelback - @kahri - CB -
The sabercats are having a great season, one game back from the playoffs and with a decently high draft pick due to a trade with Sarasota. The Sabercats core has a good few seasons together in their prime and they have to hit that as well as they can. Nickelback helps their somewhat weak secondary and provides insurance for when star CB Brooks Piggott starts feeling regression.
1:08 - YKW - Gucci Gurley - @MrGoat1246 - RB -
Yellowknife is in a similar situation being in the playoff race with a young core. Their receiving core is still on the weaker side even with last draft’s first overall pick Silence Suzuka balling out. As well, they don't have a true option to back up Money Tolliver. Gurley is able to provide backup services for Tolliver until taking over and is able to bolster their passing game as a receiving back. Getting the GOAT with the 8th pick is honestly a reach seeing as Tom Brady was the 199th pick.
1:09 - CTC - Kiwi Flapjacks - @kiki - DE -
The mobile QB experiment has worked out somewhat well for Crash and I see them doubling down on it with this class. Flabjacks provides them with some new explosiveness in their pass rush which they desperately need to continue competing
1:10 - SJS - Tar XF - @tar_xf - K/P -
A kicker with the 10th pick? Are you crazy Bamord? Yes, I might be, it is currently 12:25 in the morning, I am completely sleep deprived and I’m listening to the 2005 rap album of the year. Those combine to a very incoherent thought process As I mentioned earlier, SJS is a very young team, one of the oldest players on that young team is their kicker, so therefore they get a replacement early. That makes sense, right?? Right?? @WalterYensid that makes sense right?

That's the end of the draft, managed to get all of the prospects of the class in one short media. This really is a small class, kind of worrying for the future of the league. Don’t be surprised when the draft plays out exactly like this.
