Part II of the presser continues now!
@baz1757:
Is Honolulu cheating and since they are most obviously since their GM is Icebear. How do yall do it (asking for a friend)?
Well this is a trade secret, but I guess I can tell you since you know first hand the terrible things @”Icebear” makes us do. As we all know, sim testing is basically negligible. Sure, JDC and the rest of us on the sim team put in many hours of sim testing, but we just do that to escape Icebear’s wrath. The Sim Gods will do as they please no matter what. However, we have found that by appeasing the Sim Gods, we can earn their good graces. And what do the Sim Gods hate? Players that do not earn, players that do not become better. The Sim wants players to continue to grow. So we traded for an inactive, former first round pick, a prime sacrifice to the Sim Gods. Unfortunately when he found out about the plans, he became active once again. This angered the Sim Gods as he got away without punishment. We all know how the rest of the season went for us.
@BOOM™:
1) Why is OrbitingDeath such a nice guy?
Probably because doesn’t live in America. Also probably because he has great taste in music. ALSO probably because he gets all the good pokemon.
2) Score Icebear as a GM on a scale of 1-10. What could he do better?
*Stares at camera* Oh I definitely would rate Icebear *short blinks eyes* a 10 out of 10 *short blink* as a GM. He is a true leader *short blink* both on and off *long blink* the football field. There is absolutely nothing *long blink* he does wrong; in fact, he does everything *long blink* perfectly. Everyone loves him *short blink*, follows him of their own *short blink* volition, and everyone is perfectly happy. *short blink*
@jdc4654:
1. Who are the best sim testers in the league?
I’d say JDC, wizard_literal, and Uptowncord. Definitely not that bum, Hudz.
2. What is your most controversial opinion about the ISFL?
Salary cap and salaries should be structured in a way to make team building more exciting and force more FA movement as players age. I think it should also be structured in a way that older players have higher minimum salaries at similar TPE to younger players, so that older player’s have higher cap hits and will be more incentivised to retire and recreate sooner. However, this is just a league for fun with friends so I understand people not wanting to leave their teams for that reason as well.
3. Rocket League?
Poopy Kaka’s, assemble!
@wizard_literal: What major hurdles did you have to first overcome while under the tyrannous rule of General Managers IceBear and MMFLEX?
*Stares at camera* Once again, *short blinks eyes* both IceBear and MMFlex *short blink* are fantastic GMs. They are *short blink* both encouraging *long blink* and always understanding. I love our *long blink* past midnight practices *long blink* that bleed into 5AM conditioning. Everyone loves their ideas *short blink*, we have no *short blink* complaints, and everyone is perfectly happy. *short blink*
@wizard_literal Do you have any dogs? (I know you do)What are their names?
I do! I have two of them. They are Miniature Schnauzers. Their names are Ash (green collar) and Phoenix (red collar). Look at how cute they are.
LOOK AT THEM.
@aeonsjenni What type of cat should I get? What should I name it? Please ping @”wizard_literal” in your answer.
I have borrowed @”wizard_literal”’s orb for this. As I look into it, pondering the unknown, I begin to see a shape. There is a lot of fluff and fur. It can only be a Ragdoll cat. Super fluffy and very affectionate compared to the average cat, I think this breed is perfect for you. And their name will be Sergeant Flufferton the Third.
@wizard_literal: How many questions have you answered in this presser?
Zero before I sat down for this writing session (Editor's Note: this was in June). Do not judge the process, for only the process may judge you. Or something like that. I don’t read the bible.
@baz1757:
1) What is your go to pokemon showdown team?
I do not play on Showdown, but I would definitely never play stall. I mean, who would use stall and have more than a handful of stall teams ready to go?
2) Why does Jenni like stall smh?
Oh my.
@aeonsjenni: please describe your least favorite moviegoing experience in your life, and please ping @UptownCord in your answer
I went to see @UptownCord’s favorite movie in theater, the third Lord of the Rings, with a bunch of my high school classmates. I don’t know why two people sitting in the same row as their fellow classmates, let alone right next to someone, would think they are private enough to be all over each other; it was so awkward. I still hold these two people accountable for ruining the ending of an amazing trilogy for me.
@UptownCord: please describe your favorite moviegoing experience in your life, and please ping @aeonsjenni in your answer
This is a hard choice, but I have to go with seeing You Don't Mess With Zohan in the theater. The movie is terrible. And not one of those “so bad it’s good” forms of terrible. However, there are a ton of jokes that really only hit for jewish people. So my buddy and I are laughing out loud at these jokes that really are not for most people, and at the same time, the rest of the people in the theater are leaving halfway through the movie. We were the only two people to stay until the end. I do wonder what @aeonsjenni’s opinion is about this movie and if she would stay or leave if she saw it in the theater.
@wizard_literal: This is gonna sound weird, but do you have a paypal account and can send me $100 lol. I will send it right back, I just need to transfer it to my Navy Federal account because I left my main banks debit card in my step dads car and im in the middle of walmart with a bunch of stuff and realized i didnt have my debit card, i just need the 100 to transfer to my Navy Fed account then I can send you back the $100 immediately with my debit card linked from my main bank. Please ping @baz1757 in your response.
My plan is to send you the money this morning, but I'm on a time crunch and Paypal is being very glitchy. I probably won't get to sending it this morning, but I'll get it to you by this afternoon. @baz1757 can probably send it sooner.
@baz1757: Which S41 rookie was the biggest reach and why is it @"wizard_literal” !!!
I gotta say, the S41 draft class was really loaded with high end talent across many rounds. I just do not know what NYS were thinking when they drafted @”wizard_literal” 1OA. I mean, the guy is a total bum. Not only is he a max earner, but he is a DSFL GM of TIJ. Oh, and did I mention he’s also an Assistant Player Progression Team member, a Federation Head of the WFC, and now also an Auditor? He obviously doesn’t even have time to play football! What a scrub! (Editor’s Note: Looking back, he really is a scrub. Can’t even keep the same jobs, smh my head)
@aeonsjenni: Please answer this question so you qualify for the ongoing double media. Describe your draft experiences for both drafts (DSFL and ISFL), including the scouting process and the draft itself. Were you at all surprised by the outcome? Also, why was the DSFL draft better? Was it because Mary Marie was drafted 1OA and not Dub “Reach” Redd?
So I’m just going to get this out of the way right now; there is no WAY I should be getting double media for this; I should be getting EIGHTFOLD media for this since this presser has been open over the course of FOUR double medias. That's 2x media times four. It's basic math. I’m even humble enough to not make it exponential. @”jkortesi” no doubt agrees. Full send it.
Both draft experiences have been vastly different and very unique. Although the scouting questions are usually the same, the DSFL draft process was very new in every way. I was a brand new user and had no idea how the league worked at all. I knew no one in the league. I didn’t even know if I would stick around. I had no preference on teams going into the draft and was just looking to have fun. But the DSFL draft was an awesome experience and I loved watching Mary Marie going 1OA, especially getting drafted over Dub “Reach” Redd. For the ISFL draft, I had more of an understanding on how and where things may fall. During my scouting conversations, I was told I was even in consideration for the 1OA pick by NYS, which was really nice to hear but I did not feel I deserved it compared to some other users. Going into the ISFL draft, I actually had preferences and teams I hoped would take me due to locker room fit, GM relationships, etc., and HON was one of those teams. Getting drafted by them was really awesome.
@Ephenssta: What is your favorite time of day rounded to the nearest minute?
10:34pm. Everything is usually done for the day. I’m in bed, tired, but not too sleepy. The ceiling fan is on low for a slight breeze but I’m under the blanket. I’ve got one or both of my dogs lying in bed up against me. I’ve got my phone and I’m watching youtube, or I’ve got my switch. It’s the perfect time to be in my own little world.
@aeonsjenni: I'm gonna get ahead of @Ephenssta on this one. What is your opinion of egg salad?
Love it. And I am damn proud of it too. When made well, egg salad is an S-tier food in my humble opinion. If you ever go to a kosher-style deli, you owe it to yourself to try their egg salad. Get it on a bagel. Enter egg nirvana.
@Baron1898: Please rank the Cross Boys in order from least to greatest. Please rank the Er multis in order from least to greatest. Then, using the top three from each group, what do you think would be the outcome of a season of ISFL Bachelorette if they were the contestants for @”bex” ’s hand? Please describe in 500 words or more.
Okay, ranking the Cross Boys from least to greatest I have to go with the following:
6th: Ricecake, aka Eric. Was in the league the shortest, definitely the weakest.
5th: YoungGreekBoy, aka Bronson. From a pure vulgarity standpoint, Bronson takes the cake. Put him at the bottom of the list.
4th: Hoeforest, aka Ethan. Ethan took the longest to join, so definitely not a decisive man. Better than the other two because Krispy Kreme is delicious.
3rd: SammyG, aka Sam. Ricecake’s better half. Did better in the league, better picks in the drafts and all.
2nd: Tinkler, aka Tristan. Tink’s got that swagger and moxie to have Nick as his rival! Who doesn’t admire a guy with aspirations and grit!
1st: mckee, aka Nick. The ringleader! The highest drafted and the most involved of the six. He just has to be first.
Also 6th-1st: Noble. It’s science…
Now for ErMurazor’s multis, who I will affectionately refer to as “The Er Crew”:
At the bottom of said list are the suspected multis, the big three. These gentlemen, TyronSmith, aka Tyron Smith, JasonMars, aka Brett Doddgy, and MattJames, aka Matt James, occupy spots , nine, eight, and seven all together, and ranking them individually is too tall a task.
6th: YoloSwag420, aka Luke Luechly. The god awful name. Get out of here.
5th: Sanctus, aka Cristiano Ronaldo. The name alone has no sense of creativity.
4th: BrotherP, aka Jaxon Tuck. We are starting to get some better naming sense, but the name BrotherP is a tad on the boring side.
3rd: BrokkLee, aka Brokk Lee. Now we are getting somewhere! I feel whisked away to a mix of martial arts movies and football.
2nd: TimPest, aka Tim Pest. Give Er the credit he deserves; he had the wherewithal to name a multi after himself! A for A(e)ffort!
1st: Pat17, aka Pat Pancake, aka ErMurazor’s original creation. Who doesn’t love pancakes, especially on the Oline? Earning and achieving while maintaining all the above accounts is one incredible accomplishment in its own right. Stupid, foolhardy, and undermines the integrity of our league, but quite the tenacity this individual has displayed!
Now onto the show. The scene begins with Bex entering the mansion or villa or whatever the place is they shoot the show. I don’t watch it. She has a rose in her hand, as is tradition. Enter stage left Pat Pancake, Tim Pest, and Brokk Lee. They are all wearing matching Maroon suits with Gold button down shirts, “The Er Crew” embroidered in gold across the back of each suit. A grimace steaks across Bex’s face, caught by the camera before correcting herself with a very managed smile. Stage right! The squeal of tires can be heard before a bright red Ford 150 crashes into the brick wall of the mansion-villa hybrid. The truck doors fly open as Labatt Blue cans clatter to the ground. As three young boys emerge from the truck, a single, large brick falls and shatters the windshield. “CROSS C**TS IN THE HOUSE! SASKATOON REPRESENT!” they chant in unison. “Nope, just nope,” Bex snaps, throwing the rose down and trampling it as she stomps off, stage left. SUDDENLY! Our two groups of dashing young gentlemen begin to glitch and combine, merging into grotesque, half formed mounds of disfigured humanity that can only be described as about a half of a human each. OH THE HUMANITY!
Aaaaand scene.
@UptownCord: Please grade the first five picks of S41 ISFL Draft based off of the users participation in Gameday broadcasts. Also ping @”LtHudz” in your reply.
S41 P1: Wizard_literal: just an incredible presence every single gameday. I mean, what would gameday presentations be without him? I love when they cut to the sideline reporting to get the coach's input midgame; Wizard_literal always asks the coaches the most hard hitting questions. 9/10.
S41 P2: aeonsjenni: maybe the best pregame show out there. She breaks down all of the team's strengths and weaknesses with professionalism and grace. 9/10.
S41 P3: @”LtHudz” : always busy cooking or eating dinner and trying to watch the games while my wife wants me to put my phone down, so never a part of gameday broadcasts. Pretty much a clueless schmuck. 5/7 with rice.
S41 P4: UptownCord: is he even still in the league? 10/10 gameday performance.
S41 P5: Baz: His post-game show puts Chris Berman's fastest 3 minutes to shame. 9/10.
@aeonsjenni: Please grade the first five picks of the S41 ISFL draft based off of the user's media output :3
S41 P1: Wizard_literal: A staggering 31 media pieces (seven in collaboration with aeonsjenni). Overall Grade: A+
S41 P2: aeonsjenni: Another heavy hitter with 23 media pieces (seven in collaboration with Wizard_Literal). Overall Grade: A+
Both the above get a collaborative writeup due to their collaborative works. When it comes to the writers of our class, I have them as 1A and 1B, and don’t ask me to rank them beyond that. Their collabs and personal work ooze with personality, humor, and commitment to excellence and detail. Both are wonderful writers and the gold standard of our draft class.
S41 P3: LtHudz: A measly five graded pieces, but definitely some meat to be had here. Maybe the greatest ode to maybe the greatest draft that maybe almost never happened, in-depth character back story, and of course, random selection. There is also this Hall of Fame worthy piece of Presser history right here. Overall Grade: E for Effort.
S41 P4: UptownCord: Four media submissions. Normally the lackluster number would push the rating down but each is a fantastic piece on ISFL history. Informative, well researched, and well written. Overall Grade: B
S41 P5: Baz: Power rankings and mock draft specialist before the league jobs took over his time, Baz comes in with 11 media pieces to his name. He has come out of media retirement now that he is broke. Overall Grade: B
@Gadget If you could fire any one isfl user from their current position who would it be and why?
@aeonsjenni: What kind of flower is your favorite? Is it because of the color, the shape, the smell, or some sentimental reason? Explain your answer and ping @UptownCord in your response.
I was just talking to @UptownCord about this. He'd never seen a bird of paradise before. It's a beautiful flower that resembles an actual bird. It is also my mother's favorite flower.
@MMFLEX: Do you wanna get married and have my bus babies?
Uhhhhhhh…
@baz1757:
1) Is a hotdog a sandwich? I need a very detailed answer with scientific facts and at least two @aeonsjenni pings
I have come a LONG way on this debate since @aeonsjenni and the rest of us have first discussed this many seasons ago. You see, this sandwich alignment chart below has a fatal flaw in it:
You see @aeonsjenni, the issue above is wrong. Structure and ingredients do not the sandwich make. To fully understand the core of what the hot dog truly is, we must turn to our dictionaries. Merriam-Webster defines our two categories as such:
The sandwich: a. : two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between. b. : one slice of bread covered with food.
The taco: a crispy or soft corn or wheat tortilla that is folded or rolled and stuffed with a mixture (as of seasoned meat, cheese, and lettuce).
All along, our issue was easily solvable by understanding the core of what makes a sandwich a sandwich and a taco a taco; the encasement used to deliver the food to one’s piehole! Not the ingredients! Not the structure! A submarine sandwich is not a taco! NAY! It is a split roll with filling in between! Just as is our hot dog bun a split roll, with the hot dog filling in between! Ergo, a hot dog is indeed a sandwich!
2) Lets say you went to @”wizard_literal” house and he had a pet parrot what would you teach the parrot to say?
“NOW INTRODUCING DUB REDD, CORNERBACK, NEW YORK SILVERBACKS!!!”
3) What is your celebrity look alike and why is it @UptownCord
Lately, I have heard I look a bit like John Goodman, specifically his role as Walter from The Big Lebowski. I have also heard that @UptownCord not only loves that movie, but he actually IS Walter in real life! Crazy world we live in. And yes, you heard me right. He is not John Goodman. He is Walter.
@wizard_literal: I just arrived at your door and I have brought the Hahalua team bus. You have 6 hours to hide the bus in your hometown or where you currently are. In 6 hours the team will arrive and have 6 hours to find the bus. What is your plan of action?
Easy enough, although dangerous. St. Louis is one of the top cities in the states for car jackings/thefts. I would drive down to downtown or East St. Louis, leave the keys in the bus and the doors open, and just walk away. 25 to 30 minute drive from where I am, and I guarantee the bus is gone and not found within a few hours. I mean, it will be GONE. Probably scrapped for parts by the time Ice starts looking for it.
@Moldycheez4:
1) Trade me?
Trade you? Trade me!
2) Why doesn't Ice just wear diapers for fun? I mean, he would never have to go to the bathroom and it would save some time.
I mean, have either of us ever met Ice? Even if we have, would we even know if he was or was not wearing a diaper? He could very well be wearing them already. I know I have never once seen him go to use the bathroom. And we all know Ice hates wasting time. Something to think about.
3) Do you wear diapers? You should
I mean, anything can technically be called a diaper if you get creative.
@aeonsjenni: What color do you most heavily associate with each of the first 5 picks of the S41 class? Please color code each of their questions accordingly
S41 P1: Wizard_literal: #7DF9FF: Definitely a cool electric blue. Taken the league by storm, but inconspicuously. Calm, cool and collected. Counting down the days until he replaces Swanty as Commish.
S41 P2: aeonsjenni: #1AD697: Very close to a jade green; a whimsical and serene hue. Has injected vast amounts of creativity, content, and potential reform to the league while bringing a stabilizing force wherever she goes.
S41 P3: LtHudz: #CC5500: A burnt orange. Just an old, crotchety man who bahumbugs on others.
S41 P4: UptownCord: #1071C9: A stern yet calming deep blue. Already made a deep impression on the league and will continue to do so. Counting down the days until he replaces Wizard_Literal as Commish.
S41 P5: Baz: #885EDB: As close to a Royal Purple as you can get. When you think of Baz, you think of royalty, and when you think of royalty, you think of suffering when your domain does not do well.
@aeonsjenni: Say 5 nice things about @baz1757, please. I think he needs it
Hard agree. Everything I’ve heard so far about baz as GM of TIJ has been fantastic. He’s doing a phenomenal job, not getting fined for starting IAs or anything like that. He’s also a fun dude to just chat with. He adds a lot to the league in my opinion, even outside of being both a GM and a Player Progression team member. His pfp is cool and is the reason I started reading a new manga. He’s also a good sport when it comes to joking around; I think I can count six, no, sevem times where he has gracefully been the butt of a joke. Love you Baz.
@”wizard_literal”: What's the best Defensive Position and why is it Defensive Tackle you absolute traitor.
:shcok: I only picked Defensive Tackle when I created my player because I looked at the TPE tracker by position and saw that as a glaring need. I have no inherent desire to play any specific position over another; I just love football. Being a part of this league and the community is by far more important to me than any specific position. If I was going to make a player on defense based upon my actual preference, it would be a Middle Linebacker. I loved watching guys like London Fletcher, Zach Thomas, Brian Urlacher, and, as much as it pains me to admit since I hate the Ravens, Ray Lewis. They were the heart and soul of their teams and were impactful with their play, leadership, and football IQ. I currently love watching guys like Darius Leonard and Fred Warner play the game so well. So to answer your question, I was a traitor from the start.
@aeonsjenni: why have you struggled so much with predictions this season?
Someone took the TPE stick from me. I couldn’t earn because of it!
@”lemonoppy”:
What kind of contract riders are you looking for?
Ideally? I’d love for something in my contract that stipulates Ice to trade me. Realistically? I end up helping with all our spreadsheets, testing, and probably end up as GM.
What is your target emoji per season?
All of them. All of them.
@UptownCord:
How long before you take down Ice and Flex in a coup with JDC?
About… 2 weeks ago.
What are the three wacky numbers on the back of your credit card?
Man, that’s a good question. They are rubbed off but look like they say “544” if I’m not mistaken? Oh, no, that's just a note that says S44. Huh. Weird.
@lemonoppy: Which ISFL team would you like to GM the most?
Any team without that bum @Icebear.
@Chicken Lips:
1)You are currently my lowest performing fantasy pick how does that make you feel?
Why the hell did you pick Billy Jor-El when he wasn’t the CB1? I appreciate it, but man that is rough.
2)Who would win between a Grey Duck and a Hahalua in a bare knuckle fight?
Where are the knuckles? Neither has hands! If you just said fight, sure, I could answer you, but there is no knuckle fighting here. So, in honor of @toofpete, I refuse to answer this question, in protest to its wording.
3)What is your winning Catan strategy?
Wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy?
@baz1757:
1) What is your Hottest take?
I really don’t have a spicy hot take. I’d say I have some unpopular personal takes, but that’s about as far as I’d go. For example, I enjoy going to the dentist. The feeling of getting your teeth scraped cleaned, that sensation is calming to me. I love it.
2) How many hours does Icebear make u test, i see u testing for 12 hours at a time you mad man!
I test a ton if you take the sim being on, but mostly it's just the sim on auto pilot.
3)If you were to overthrow the league who would you make HO?
@”wizard_literal”, @UptownCord, @baz1757, and @aeonsjenni.
4)Whats your favorite football position and why is it CB
It is not CB. My favorite positions are; Middle Linebacker for defense and Running Back for offense. I loved watching players who just seemed to take over the entire field, dominate the entire game from their position that started in the center of the field pre-snap. Hall of Famers like Junior Seau, Brian Urlacher, and Ray Lewis. All forces of nature that imposed their will on the offense. Then their counterparts on offense, those like Ladanian Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, and Eddie George. Players that the entire defense would scheme against yet would still lose to. I had no idea at the time, but I was very lucky to watch some of the very best to ever play their position.
@wizard_literal:
apology for bad english
where were u wen @IceBear32 birthday
i was at house eating dorito when phone ring
“IceBear happy birthday”
“yes”
I was at house when discord ping
@ckroyal92: Rumor has it that IceBear is just a stuffed bear propped up Weekend at Bernie's style by Flex. Can you in any way verify or refute these claims?
@wizard_literal: After this season the S41 class will be kicked from the rookie discord. Do you have any schemes in place for ensuring you can stay?
ahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaaaaaaaaaa…
@wizard_literal: How many Acrylic Blocks have you acquired and if the answer is less than one please explain why in a 150 word response.
I have two acrylic blocks, but they are black market, bootlegged acrylic blocks that I laser etched myself in my trophy shop. Here they are.
@lemonoppy:
1)What will it take for you to get promoted to Commander (or Commander Lieutenant) Hudz
I have not been promoted in nearly 20 years since I got the nickname in high school (both LT and Hudz are nicknames from high school), so I doubt I will ever get that promotion. Plus I’d turn it down. I don’t want to have to change all my various usernames all over the place.
2)Can you explain why and how you deserve the rank of lieutenant when you don't understand the military organizational structure?
I do not deserve it. I got the nickname for two reasons. The first reason was that I just would not get tackled in pickup tackle football games, and Ladanian Tomlinson was fresh off his record breaking 31 touchdown season. Other reason was, around the same time, my buddy named our in-class study group after military stuff and I got the name Lieutenant, and it just stuck.
3)What are your thoughts on the history and current role of NCOs in the modern military?
Not a clue.
@ckroyal92:
1)What is your favorite role in Town of Salem?
Veteran.
2)Are you any good at that role?
My blasting record speaks for itself.
3)Do you have any mortal enemies in Town of Salem? If so, why?
Not MY mortal enemy, but I’m his. Good ol’ @chickenlips, I had him hanged day one on his first game because his invest results came back as bodyguard/godfather/arsonist. I still feel zero remorse and I’d do it again.
@lemonoppy: How do you put Minnesota's chances at an Ultimini, and what do you think they need?
I put it at 100% at some point eventually. I am not bitter at all about this past season. Nope. Not at all. Not one bit.
@TheNC206:
1)How much do you love Minnesota?
BEHOLD THE GOLDEN GOOSE!!! HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK HONK!!!!!
2)What is 2-2+1-2x4(2÷2)?
I’ll break this down step by step for you.
2-2+1-2x4(2÷2)=
2-2+1-2x4(1)=
2-2+1-8(1)=
2-2+1-8=
0+1-8=
1-8=
-7
3)What is you favorite isfl memory so far?
Oh man, this is a very tough question to answer. Both times I got drafted has to be up there. I know it’s not a specific memory, but I really love hearing from rookies when I helped them get more involved or learn to navigate the forum more, especially when it has helped them become more integrated with the community. Growing that new user's love for the league is definitely my favorite thing, and getting positive feedback from a user that my videos or scouting helped them is just the best feeling.
4)We love you hudz
No U
@CROney3: How many pages of questions for a presser is to many?
HO hasn’t locked it yet, so we seem to be just fine.
@lemonoppy:
1)What part of the sim testing is your favourite and what is one stat you had complete info on?
It’s a love-hate relationship at this point. I love being able to test out strategies and see how they compare. However, my favorite part about gameplanning has always been being able to strategize and game plan, which testing, true sim testing, gets rid of. So it's a love-hate relationship. As to your second question; wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy?
2) How much time do you think you've spend on this presser?
It’s been a lot. This is my final session (maybe?), and this is my seventh, maybe eighth time sitting down to try to finish it. Each time I spent about three to four hours writing. That doesn’t include research time. Who knows, there’s always a chance there will be another surge of questions and I end of having to write even more.
3) Do you think you'll be more involved in user bets going forward now that you're making some fat stacks?
No. I don’t gamble a ton.
4) What team would you relocate in the DSFL and what would their vibe be?
Dallas, and I would make it anything other than animal themed. Why, you ask? My reasoning has absolutely no basis on the team’s history, its user base, or anything ISFL/DSFL at all. No, the reason is pure, selfish desire to have their Discord channel scrubbed. WHY, YOU ASK??? Well, you see, when I first joined the league, when I was first getting scouted as a bright eyed, bushy tailed rookie for the DSFL, I was invited to the Dallas Locker Room and promptly asked what my favorite Birddog is. I answered “Uh uh Red bellied Schanuzer” and even spelled Schnauzer WRONG. I was not trying to make a joke at the time. #ScrubDallasLR.
5) Relegate a team to the DSFL and promote one up, who deserves it?
The answer to this question depends on a few factors; does the team that gets relegated keep their current roster? Are the players sent down then capped at 250 TPE, or ,like real life relegation, do the players stay on said team at their current level of skill? Because this dynamic will severely change how I answer this question. Same for the promotion. Do the players get uncapped? Do they stay at their current level of skill? This question needs more clarity, and for that, I recuse myself from answering.
@Dindog:
1) Rumor on the street is legit bank logins with email access 2k23 for here is a new sponsor of yours, is this true? And how did this relationship come to be?
Very true. They are behind all my success. You should definitely give them your wacky three digits on the back of your credit card. I did and I totally don’t regret it. Just ask @UptownCord.
2) Also another report has surfaced that you are pregnant with a baby named Lt Jimmy John, is this true?
All questions pertaining to my supposed pregnancy will have to go through my director of social networking, @thenc206.

@ForSucksFake: What did you get @IceBear32 for his birthday and does it break the ISFL rules on bribes?
All questions pertaining to my supposed bribery scandal will have to go through my director of bribes and gambling, @jdc.
@aeonsjenni: As a defensive tackle :agony::agony: cornerback :agony::agony:, who is your inspiration and why is it Big Edd Big Edd's spiritual successor @baz1757?
Of course!
@aeonsjenni:
What's your all-time favorite NFL safety? (and what about your all-time favorite S41 ISFL safety? <3 <3)
As a lifelong, depressed, dead inside Browns fan, it pains me to say this, but I absolutely loved watching Troy Polamalu. The guy was everywhere on the field, diagnosing plays and flying in for the impact, game altering turnover or hit. He had the mind of a quarterback back in the Safety position. Which can all be said for S41’s Marie Marie!
@Ephenssta:
1) What is the exact time and date (rounded to the nearest second) that the world will end?
I could tell you, but then I would have to change when I end the world, so that would just defeat the purpose.
2) I'm sure you're well aware of the trolley problem, where you imagine a scenario in which there are five people about to be run over by a trolley, but you can pull a lever to divert the trolley to only kill a single person. Do you pull the lever?
Insert Deja Vu GIF
@aeonsjenni:
1) In a variation of the trolley problem, the group of people threatened by the trolley is exactly myself, @baz1757, @UptownCord, and @”wizard_literal”. On the other track there is nobody. Do you pull the lever?
Just so I understand this correctly, the trolley is headed to no one, and you are asking if I’d pull the lever to hit all of you? Absolutely not. I am not pulling the lever. Also, who tied you all up and put you there like that? Was it @fnordypsyduck? It was, wasn’t it?!?
2) In a Thunderdome between @baz1757 (NOLA GM) and @baz1757 (TIJ GM), who wins?
Definitely @baz1757
3) In a Thunderdome between @”wizard_literal” (NYS GM) and @”wizard_literal” (TIJ GM), who wins?
Definitely @”wizard_literal”
4) In a Thunderdome between @UptownCord (OCO GM) and @UptownCord (POR GM), who wins?
Definitely @UptownCord
5) In a Thunderdome between myself (COL GM (hypothetical)) and myself (BBB GM), who wins?
Definitely @aeonsjenni
@Baron1898: Have you ever eaten spanakopita?
I believe I answered this before, about 4 seasons back. Yes I have, numerous times. My wife and I love to go to the a few places to get authentic spanakopita. First, there is a Greek restaurant near us run by a couple from Greece. The food is phenomenal and we always get spanakopita, saganaki, and moussaka. Second place we go to is the Greek festival held every September in St. Louis. The food is phenomenal and just a wonderful vibe all around.
@UptownCord: Best method of cooking hot dogs?
Very underrated method here, but pan frying them is fantastic. Medium heat, so you don’t burn them, and they cook all the way through before they get that nice finish on the outside.
@aeonsjenni: (reply to UptownCord’s above question) oven. what do you prefer: salteñas or empanadas?
I’ve never had a saltena, so I will go with empanada. However, Saltenas look fantastic.
@Chicken Lips: Whats your favorite thread number?

@wizard_literal: List ten reasons why the S41 Draft class is the best class the league has ever seen.
1) S41 saved the league from potential contraction.
2) It is the fourth largest draft class in league history, and the second largest since S25.
3) Just count the current and former number of S41 GMs at both levels and important job holders across the league.
4) The media and graphics from the class are exceptional.
5) SNAILS.
6) Let’s look at the TPE tracker right now; Jumbo, LtHudz, wizard_literal, Sizz, baz1757, CROney3, infinitempg, Number 82, jdc4654, UptownCord, jollyjiggs, nickWilliams, Urq660, crash1005, toofpete, TheRake, aeonsjenni, Ultimatedestroye, bowl0, Weaves, and 18situaseans, all over 1200 TPE right now.
7) Most of us joined the day Tom Brady retired. Some might even say the class of S41 caused Brady to retire.

@Baron1898: How do you cook your five favorite recipes? Detailed instructions, please.
1) Ahi Poke Bowl:
Ingredients
1 pound sashimi grade ahi tuna cut into ¾" cubes
¼ cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 ½ teaspoons sesame oil
¾ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
⅓ cup green onions thinly sliced
½ teaspoon sesame seeds plus more for garnish
2 cups brown rice or white rice, cooked
2 cups salad greens
Preparation
Wash the rice under running water and cook it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In a medium-sized bowl combine ahi tuna, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, green onions, and sesame seeds.
Add the cooked rice, salad, tuna, and desired toppings to each bowl. Serve immediately or refrigerate covered for up to 2 hours before serving. Makes 4 servings.
Recommendations
Spice up your bowl with Avocado, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, pickled ginger, wasabi, furikake seasoning, and/or dried seaweed. Or whatever sounds good!
Vegetarian or just afraid of raw fish? Swap the tuna with firm tofu. Press the moisture out of the tofu and cut it into similarly sized cubes. Then marinate for at least 30 minutes. Preferably a few hours.
Use sushi rice and season the rice properly! Nothing like good sushi rice in a poke bowl.
2) Shepherd’s Pie:
Ingredients
Mashed Potatoes
1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes
1/4 cup half-and-half
2 ounces unsalted butter
3/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 egg yolk
Meat Filling
2 Tbsp canola oil
1 cup chopped onion
2 carrots, peeled and diced small
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 pounds ground lamb (use ground beef for cottage pie)
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tsp tomato paste
1 cup chicken broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp freshly chopped rosemary leaves (2/3 tsp if using dried)
1 tsp freshly chopped thyme leaves (1/3 tsp if using dried)
1/2 cup fresh or frozen corn kernels
1/2 cup fresh or frozen English peas
Preparation
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F
Peel potatoes and cut into 1/2" dice. Place in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Set over high heat, cover and bring to a boil. Once boiling, uncover, decrease heat to maintain a simmer until tender (10-15 mins). In a separate container, warm the half-and-half and butter together in the Microwave (35 secs). Drain potatoes and return them to the saucepan. Mash potatoes and add the half and half/butter, salt, and pepper. Continue to mash until smooth. Stir in the yolk until well combined.
Prepare filling while cooking potatoes. Place oil into a 12" saute pan. set over medium high heat. Add onion and carrots and saute until they begin to take on color (3-5 mins). Stir in garlic. Add lamb, salt, and pepper and cook until cooked through, (3 mins). Sprinkle in flour and toss to coat, continuing to cook another minute. Stir in tomato paste, chicken broth, Worcestershire, rosemary, and thyme. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to slow simmer and cover for 10-12 mins or until sauce is thickened slightly.
Add the corn and peas to the lamb mixture and spread evenly into an 11"x7" baking dish. Top with the mashed potatoes. Bake for 25 mins or just until the potatoes begin to brown. Let cool at least 15 mins before serving.
3) Red Lentil Soup:
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large carrot, diced
2 large stalks celery, diced
1 small yellow onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more as needed
1 cup dried red lentils
4 cups water or low-sodium broth
1 whole bay leaf
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 1/2 large lemon)
For serving: Olive oil, yogurt, or other topping (optional)
Preparation
Heat the olive oil. In a medium (2- to 3-quart) saucepan or Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmering. Add the carrot, celery, onion, and salt and stir to combine. Cover and let the vegetables sweat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the lentils, water or broth, and bay leaf and bring up to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer, covered, until the lentils begin to fall apart, about 20 minutes.
Turn off the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Taste and season with salt as needed. Ladle into bowls and serve with toppings if desired.
4) Oven-Roasted Chicken Shawarma
Ingredients
2 lemons, juiced
1⁄2 cup plus 1 tablespoon olive oil
6 cloves garlic, peeled, smashed and minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
A pinch ground cinnamon
Red pepper flakes, to taste
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 large red onion, peeled and quartered
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Preparation:
Prepare a marinade for the chicken. Combine the lemon juice, 1⁄2 cup olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon and red pepper flakes in a large bowl, then whisk to
combine. Add the chicken and toss well to coat. Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to 12 hours.
When ready to cook, heat oven to 425 degrees. Use the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to grease a rimmed sheet pan. Add the quartered onion to the chicken and marinade, and toss once to combine. Remove the chicken and onion from the marinade, and place on the pan, spreading everything evenly across it.
Put the chicken in the oven and roast until it is browned, crisp at the edges and cooked through, about 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to rest 2 minutes, then slice into bits. (To
make the chicken even more crisp, set a large pan over high heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil to the pan, then the sliced chicken, and sauté until everything curls tight in the heat.) Scatter the parsley over the top and serve with tomatoes, cucumbers, pita, white sauce, hot sauce, olives, fried eggplant, feta, rice — really anything you desire.
Recipe 5 is for my family’s yabchik recipe (should be rated number 1). I refuse to put that here.
@aeonsjenni: hype up a S42 user of your choice :]
@ChickenLips. Not much I really need to say. Absolutely love the guy. He’s been fantastic to get to know and I can see myself staying in contact with him well beyond the league.
@UptownCord:
1) Thoughts on Heath Evans?
Love a good Fullback discussion. Great ability to carry the ball while also a true run blocker. Really opened up some lanes for Shaun Alexander. Hold on, let me look up something really quickly… Oh. OH. Can we just talk about football?
2) Who is the most under the radar cool person in the Minnesota Locker Room?
Well it’s been a few seasons, so I can answer this one again. @Amkane. Dude is just a chill guy, easy to get along with, and really great to have around. I think he will shock the league as he comes out of his shell more.
@wizard_literal: HUDZ?
WIZ?
@Datboi69: If you could, would you recolor the sky? I’m thinking a green sky would look dope personally.
That’s tricky! Colors and UV rays really do have an impact on mental well being, so I wouldn’t mess with things to be honest. Maybe if I could do it for like a short period, like two seconds, then it went back. That could be fun. Probably a nice orange, since it is my favorite color.
@baz1757:
1) I need a 500 word analysis on @UptownCords Punishments and when his last strike is.
I would analyze them, but there aren’t enough. I need more.
2) I need a 250 word story on the origin of the snail and how @aeonsjenni brought it about.
I’m not sure how jenni brought it about, but I am glad to be a part of its spread.
3) Then I need a 100 word paragraph on why @”wizard_literal” may actually be a wizard
He is.
@Ultimatedestroye:
1) In 50 words or less, describe why MINN is going to win the ultimini this year, and @toofpete will lose to you in the conference finals
I’m a sad duck.
2) Also, who is the best Defensive Back in the S41 draft class, not including yourself
Safety Marie Marie, as described above!
@aeonsjenni: Why does this presser deserve a Gemini?
It absolutely does not.
@baz1757:
@BOOM™:
@jdc4654:
@baz1757:
Uhhhhhhh…
@baz1757:
@Moldycheez4:
@UptownCord:
@Chicken Lips:
@baz1757:
@wizard_literal:
apology for bad english
where were u wen @IceBear32 birthday
i was at house eating dorito when phone ring
@lemonoppy:
Not a clue.
@ckroyal92:
@TheNC206:
@lemonoppy:
@Dindog:
3) Bet?
Insert GIF of flashback cat
@110radio: Hudz - whats in the box? WHATS IN THE BOX?!
A delicious slice of apple pie. Care for some?
@ForSucksFake: What did you get @IceBear32 for his birthday and does it break the ISFL rules on bribes?
All questions pertaining to my supposed bribery scandal will have to go through my director of bribes and gambling, @jdc.
@aeonsjenni: As a defensive tackle :agony::agony: cornerback :agony::agony:, who is your inspiration and why is it Big Edd Big Edd's spiritual successor @baz1757?
Of course!
@aeonsjenni:
@Ephenssta:
@aeonsjenni:

8) S41 Gang.

@UptownCord:
@wizard_literal: HUDZ?
@baz1757:
He is.
@Ultimatedestroye:
