The best defense in the league is led by one man and it's not even close.
Jayce Muhhfxkn Tuck. Ricky Maddox wanted to provide a similar ability to the Yellowknife defense to give them an edge. With six more weeks in the regular season, he hasn't done that. A respectable year up until this point, at least for the transition from Tight End and Defensive End, but he hasn't lived up to his defensive idol's expectations. We can go strictly on a statistical standpoint. Maddox has 36 tackles so far. Do you know how many tackles Tuck has? 62. That's right, Tuck is 10 tackles away from doubling Ricky's tackles in the same time span. It's remarkable to say the least, but it doesn't stop there. Maddox has 7 sacks on the year. How many does Jayce have so far? 23. Yup. 23. If you're keeping count of where that stands with the GOAT TE/DE™, that's more than TRIPLE the sack count. That is simply amazing in itself. Leading the league in sacks in both the league and at his position by more than seven sacks. That is just INSANE!! Balling out of his mind. And he's already on the fast track to be the first player to 30 sacks in a single season. Already broke his own record for sacks, I can't speak on him for too much longer, the envy is becoming real every second. Haha I still can't help but respek the gangsta, though. 255 words

Right now the best player in the league at throwing the ball is Mike Boss. As many know, I wrote an article arguing how Scrub Kyubee is the best quarterback in the league. Mike Boss decided to then come into Baltimore and destroy us. In that game Boss was 30 - 40 with 427 and an astounding five touchdowns. That was good for a 148.6 passer rating (which is obviously a silly stat, since that line should be almost perfect). Boss has been straight up dominant this year, and that Baltimore game was really not out of the ordinary for him.
Right now Mike Boss is leading the league in every statistically significant passing category. He's leading in passing yards, completion percentage, touchdowns, yard per attempt, least interceptions thrown, and passer rating. Mike Boss is putting together that best season a quarter back has had in the short stint of the NSFL. Yes, Boss has an incredible receiving core, an awesome tight end and two good running backs, but he's the reason this team has been so incredible on offense. I'm excited to see what he can do to finish out the season. To put it quite simply, Mike Boss is a fucking BOSS. 203

The Outlaws are fortunate in that they have two GOAT's on the same roster. I mean, the Arizona Outlaws are just a scary good team. Jayce Tuck is the best football player on the planet at this point in time and he shows absolutely no signs of slowing down any time soon, the guy is simply dominant. He won the MVP last season by a landslide and somehow he has dwarfed his season 2 production through nine games here in season three. On the offensive side of the ball they have the GOAT Offensive Lineman Tim Pest who is quiet off-the-field but on-the-field becomes an unbreakable wall protecting runningbacks and King Bronko so that the offense can run smoothly. Last season Tim Pest didn't allow one single sack and through nine games this season the streak continues, how long will it go? It's almost impossible to say but one thing is for sure it's exciting to watch. It's almost an embarrassment of riches when you factor in the fact that King Bronko is the best general manager in the game. Things are looking good for the undefeated Outlaws, and I still have them picked to go undefeated and win the Ultimus for the third straight time.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the best punter in the league and he’s a pretty great kicker to boot. Coming into the league Ronaldo maintained that his passion was soccer and punting. He had conquered professional soccer and wanted to prove he was a two sport athlete by becoming the best NSFL punter in the world. At this point I think it’s safe to say he is well on his way to achieving his goal. Ronaldo is currently leading the league in punt average by nearly full 3 yards. Those numbers are insane in their own right but that’s not the only thing that he has to impress you. Ronaldo has also kicked the longest field goal in league history at a whopping 81 yards. That is what I call flipping the field! Ronaldo is also 2nd in the league with punts inside the 20 with 17.
To Make Ronaldo’s story even more impressive he also kicks a lot of field goals and extra points for the Arizona Outlaws and leads the entire NSFL in scoring. Ronaldo does all of this without even practicing for extra points. Every day at practice Ronaldo does his strength exercises, punts some bombs as far as he can and goes home to play FIFA. He has said he is a punter and has stuck with his word, only doing placekicking as a favor to his team and a bigger payday. Needless to say, this guy can punt! @`Sanctus`

Well it's a surprise since it's been his first year returning but Dermot Lavelle is easily the best punt returner in the league. He's got the speed, agility and intelligence to find the smallest lane and burst through for a huge gain. It doesn't seem like there's a game that goes by where he doesn't show off his wheels.
Let's look at some stats and we'll start with the big one, punt return average. Lavelle absolutely destroys people here with an absolutely Hall of Fame worthy 13.8 yard average. The next closest qualified (15 or more returns) returner is Antoine Delacour with 9.4. Think about that, Dermot gains a whole 4.4 yards more per punt than an extremely accomplished returner like Delacour. The next three are at 8.5, 8.4, and 8.3 respectively. Meaning that Delacour is actually closer to 5th place than Dermot is to 2nd. Staggering. He's also the only returner to score a TD off a punt return. He also has the longest punt return of the season, a 77 yard scamper. Delacour is close with a 69 yard return but still second. While many may know him as the white cornerback of the NSFL he is also the great returner of the NSFL, and every week he shows you why. Will we ever see another returner like this again? @`Dermot`
The following a true story.
If you don't know anything about the Sabercats family, the team is one of the most tight-knit groups in the league. One of the things that we do is play Heroes of the Storm by Blizzard. I don't want to get too crazy but Vincent Sharpei is easily the best at playing a game we casually refer to as Hots. The man knows his skills backwards and forwards, characters strategies and otherwise. I have to play on his team to make it fair for the opponents, because man do I suck. He has talent for this in spades and is more than happy to help newer players like me out with it. I have learned more about how not to be aggressive on the attacks and utlization of skills in ways I never thought were possible, and while it's true that's I'm still clunky the mentorship of Sharpei has carried. John Canton is still good at Hots and I've never played with Dan Miller but I think all would agree that being the best at hots, Sharpei takes the Cake. I'm not sure if Cake plays it either, but I would be surprised if he did not. @Muford Code: 202 words
