Dalinar Summers (RB) is one of three (yes, you heard me right, three) brothers that will be partaking in the Prospect Bowl this season. Dalinar and his brothers, Kal Jr.(WR)and Bryan(K/P), all grew up in Santa Ana, California. They were raised primarily by their father after their mother left. Kal Sr. used to bond with the boys by acting as their QB, sometimes handing off the ball to Dalinar, other times passing to Kal Jr., and even holding the kick for Bryan. With this background of football in mind, it's no surprise that Dalinar went on to have a promising college run at UCLA. His strong running and commitment to finding extra yards after the tackle are big parts of what make him so appealing as a prospect. Though Summers isn't without his faults. He's been said to spend too much time on physical training and not enough on studying playbooks or preparing for games. Hopefully this is something we can see an improvement on as he makes the jump from college to the DSFL and ISFL. All in all, I'll be looking forward to seeing what all the Summers boys have in store tomorrow. Could we have a family full of freak athletes, or is this just a fluke?
