New season, new host city competition!!
Welcome everyone, for those who are new here, we would like to see you guys work to come up with proposals for where the very special Fiftieth Ultimus should be held. For this competition, you can either work by yourself or in a group to come up with a proposal for why your city should host the next Ultimus Bowl.
To walk you through the proposal, first and foremost, provide the city that you would see host the Ultimus.
Next, tell us why they deserve to host the Ultimus. Take this time to be as creative as you’d like. For example, does your city have a great history with the league? Is it a historically great football city? Would the Ultimus being held there bring the league a whole new audience? These are just some examples but really anything you write will help us envision why the Ultimus deserves to come to your city.
Finally, we’d like to see some indication of what the logo might look like. Now this can be anything from ideas that can give us a picture to a concept logo so good that it only needs some polish. As long as it gives us an idea of the direction you’re heading in, it’ll be good to us! Then the entrants go to a vote, where the winning design picked by the community becomes the the host city for the Ultimus, and second place plays host to the Ultimini. It should also be noted that the Host City Committee will work with the winning bid to produce a polished version of the logo.
The winner will receive $10,000,000, second place $5,000,000 and if there is a WFC that year, third place will host that and take home $2,500,000. All other entries that don't win can submit their logo for 2x graphics pay-out
The Rules
The City does not need to currently host an ISFL team, but should be a large and recognizable one. E.G. X wants to use their hometown of Mesa, AZ. It would probably be better to base it around the more well known city of Phoenix.
The words “Ultimus” or “Ultimus Bowl” must be present on the logo.
The Correct number in roman numerals must be present. In this case L
The logo should be able to fit inside of a 150x150 pixel box and still look presentable.
The logo should not feature the ISFL logo on it (It doesn't compress well for the field)
Logos cannot simply be an edited Coat of Arms/Flag of the location. We want to see effort and unique ideas.
All proposals must be submitted in the media section.
All proposals must give full credit to every user who worked on it.
All proposals must include or provide to me a editable PSD (or version without text) as well as fonts used. A transparent logo is also highly encouraged for ease of adjustments. (but not necessary)
