Marc Spector received a letter in the mail on the first day of training camp, and it was from Square Enix. Square Enix is a video game company most known for their role playing and adventure games like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. They recently have been creating titles in the Tomb Raider series of video games, featuring Lara Croft. However, they've grown stale and were looking for a secondary protagonist to assist Lara in her adventures. That is where Marc comes in. With his expertise in Archaeology and fame in the community, he was offered a substantial amount to not only be in the game, but do a lot of voice acting and motion capture for it. The cover of the game, titled Tomb Raiders: Himalaya features Lara Croft hoisting Marc up to a frosty ledge. The game can either be played as a one player with an AI controlling the other person, or as a cooperative 2 player experience. The game is filled with a series of puzzles, historically accurate drama surrounding a legend well guarded by the monks of Paro Taktsang and a slew of enemies that expand the repertoire of Lara Croft's prior adventures. Whether Marc continues to be in the series or if this is a one-off thing remains to be seen, and likely hinges upon sales and public opinions.
