Robbed
This year for their first time in team history the Baltimore Hawks did not qualify to make the playoffs. After starting out the season Five and O (Counting Preseason) the hawks looked poised for another playoff berth they proceeded to lose one game then go on another big win streak of Four games even giving the Outlaws their first loss of the season. Sitting at Five and Two at the midseason point the Hawks were at the top of the NSFC preparing for the playoffs. After a week 8 win against Orange County the Hawks were cursed by the sim gods and went full Kansas City losing two straight games tying up with the Wraiths and only one game ahead of the Liberty who were looking to reach the playoffs for the first time. After a week eleven win the Hawks for sure were going to the playoffs but in full Kansas fashion the Hawks lost three straight games while the liberty did the opposite and won three straight. With both teams at Seven and Seven the team chosen to go to the playoffs was based off of who had the best conference record with the Liberty with a perfect Six and O NSFC record they overtook the Hawks as members of the playoffs robbing them of a chance to MAYBE go to the Ultimus

That Magic Moment
Honestly the whole Otters v Outlaws (post re sim) match was magical for us Otters players. For most of the game it was close with each team trading points, The Outlaws had the lead by the beginning of the fourth and us Otters were getting ready to trample the HO if we lost in the re sim. With ten minutes left in the fourth quarter Mike Boss did what truebosses do and lead us on a drive with the confidence to know that we were going to come out with the win. With some beautiful passes and a couple penalties we moved in to the red zone, one pass moved us onto the 1 and this is where the magic happens. Leroy Jenkins the old man going through his year long retirement party threw away his rocker for a play to remember taking the ball up the gut Leroy pushed through to score the game winning touchdown. With a failed two point conversion the Otters defense turned up with a goal line stand stopping them from converting on fourth down, with two minutes left the Otters ran out the clock and did what was seemed to be the impossible after three seasons. The Otters won an away playoffs game and stopped the reign of the Outlaws and their three year dominance.

Many people would say that Mike Boss is the deserving MVP of the Ultimus but since everyone is probably going to say that I am voting for Bradley Westfield for Ultimus MVP. After Bradley brought the Ultimus back to Orange County him and the rest of team active and inactive on a private jet ride to the OG Disney, Disney World. Once we set foot in Disney we all turned into 200 pound kids running around laughing and having a good time at the park. Going on every ride the Otters sure did celebrate in high spirits. Fans everywhere asking for autographs all day made it even better and after getting too lit the players were kicked out of the park near closing times. The players took a party limo back to the hotel where they threw a party on the whole floor that was threatened to be shut down multiple times. I would explain the party but after midnight everything went black and I woke up to a mean hangover, a lot of the players had the same problem as well. The team had flown back to Orange County in the afternoon to get back to their regular offseason training around the world to come back and win the Ultimus again next year.
