Robbed: Write about why a team that failed to make the playoffs should have over somebody else. Can be completed at any point
I think everyone agreed to this but the team that made the playoffs were the Philadelphia Liberty. They made the playoffs but lost in the 1st round to the Yellowknife Wraith. The team that should've made the playoffs over the Philadelphia Liberty are the Baltimore Hawks. Like looking at the standings, both have the same record of 7-7. The Hawks scored more points and allowed less points making their difference larger. Those thye lost 3 in a row costing them to miss but they were the better team. Its a skid teams reach but the Hawks were the better team. The simulation was not in their favours for sure but this team needed luck for sure. They missed out on head to head matches and obviously that is not good luck. Philly was perfect against their conference teams while the Hawks were not so that's one cost. But it is the matter of who's the better team. Do not know much about this league because I just joined but based on the standings, the Baltimore Hawks were the based team that were robbed in my opinion. Now they're not such a great team in the other conference but in their conference, they were robbed. Playoff Series MVP: Choose an MVP for one of the playoff series and write about why you chose them. Must be completed after the playoff series you write about The playoff series for sure i'll be talking about is the Championship Game. Obviously the biggest game of the season in the NSFL and winner takes all game. Between the Otters and Wraiths. Now everyone played great, it was a very close and a very close comeback. It was anyone's game but who was the MVP? The MVP should go to the QB of the Otters, Mike Boss. The starter, the most valuable player. He's played great in the regular season and in the previous playoff series and he has done the same in this game. A total of 439 yards of passing in this game and making successful passes leading the team's offense to success. He has put up 3 touchdown passes which it a total of 21 points which is great for a close game. Though he did cause 2 interceptions in this game which is really not good but there are more pros than cons in his game. He has outplayed Akselson who is the other Quarter back and obviously played better than him. There is no great player like Mike Boss and in my opinion is the MVP of this championship game leading to the cup. Playoff Review: Write a short review of the playoffs and each of the matchups. Must be completed after the Championship Game The first game is the NSFC finals which is the first playoff matchup. Liberty vs Wraiths. In the 1st quarter, Rove finds DiMirio for a touchdown pass and make it 7-0 after the kick. Minutes later, the Wraith came back with a 39 yard field goal for it to 7-3. Second quarter is underway and it was the Liberty's quarter. Kroetch's team is in the red zone recives the ball and rushes for a touchdown. With 2 minuets left, the Liberty attempted a field goal to have a 17-3 lead after the 3rd quarter. Oh oh. The Wraith never gave up. A touchdown, field goal then touchdown to comeback and get the lead back in the 4th quarter which was amazing. Liberty had a FG to tie it but the Wraith get back in OT to win it and move to the finals. In the ASFC finals, it was different. It wasn't even a close game. The otters dominated the game and had a 10-3 lead at the end of 1st. 10 more points to have a 20-3 lead and yeah held on to the lead. The outlaws cameback with a TD but missed the kick then the Otters struck back and won to advance to the finals. The finals was pretty close but the Otters did the same thing and had the lead the whole game. The Wraith also did the same thing but was close. Almost cameback but the momentum was cut. Championship Game Recap: Do a recap of the best play from the championship game. Must be completed after the Championship Game The teams coming into the finals had a great game in the conference finals. The Wraith come in with a smile in their face after their amazing comeback win and pulling the patriots way. Down 17-3 and comeback. The Otters meanwhile come in without a mistake outplaying the opponent and ready for the finals. At the start, a great pass by Akselsen to DJ proving who he is with a 32 yard pass. Later, the opposition comes back with an ever better pass from Boss who showing who's the boss. 44 yard pass to Westfield and it was unbelievable. The crowd went wild. Seconds left, Boss had no time left and decides to pass like a cannon and finds Westfield for an amazing pass to get the lead just before the 1st. The Wraith didn't give up but were in 4th down. So what do they do? They didn't punt, they went for the field goal whihc was 44 yards away which is crazy. And Lombardi comes in, kicks and is successful! Something rare to see in the finals. 4 minutes later, Otters in the 4th down 44 yards from the end zone and goes for Field Goal. Madlad kicks it and steals the spotlight. It was anamazing game and lots of great plays.

I believe the San Jose Sabercats should have made the playoffs over the eventual Champions, the Orange County Otters #hottake. I think that the Cats only did not make the playoffs because of a tiebreaker in which they lost. In fact, the Otters could have cemented themselves in the playoffs with a win on the last day of the year, but they lost. I believe that they should have not been in the playoffs, instead the Cats in there. Defensively, the Cats were one of the biggest reasons why the Cats were in that position in the first place. I think that given a series, the Cats would have beaten the Otters. Therefore, the San Jose Sabercats should have been in the National SImulation League playoffs over the Orange Counter Otters. Given the opportunity, I think the Cats could have gone into Arizona and done the same thing in which the Otters did. Then, I think we could have been the Wraiths as well to our first Ultimas Championship. Next season, we will prove that we deserved to be there. For that reason, I can confidently say that these Cats will prove everyone wrong and the hate around the league will be minimized. It will feel good to make this happen. Quote:Words: 211 Playoff Series MVP: Choose an MVP for one of the playoff series and write about why you chose them. Must be completed after the playoff series you write about In the first series between the Orange County Otters and the Arizona Outlaws in which saw the Orange County Otters winning by a score of 27-9, I believe that the MVP of this game was none other than Bradley Westfield. I think that Mike Boss could have been the easy person to pick here, but i believe that Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters deserves to be that. Westfield, on the night, had 6 catches for 64 yards as well as 3, count them, 3 touchdowns. He had a 15 yard touchdown reception in the first quarter to put the the Orange County Otters up 10-3. He then had a 3 yard touchdown reception in the second quarter to put the Orange County Otters up 17-3 and the Orange County Otters would not look back. Finally, in the third quarter, he put the cap on the night with a 2 yard touchdown pass on the board to put them up by the eventual final score. WIth those huge catches, the Orange County Otters' own Bradley Westfield deserves to be MVP of this specific game and rightly so. MIke Boss had 300 yards passing and no turnovers which is the key, but Wesfield gets the MVP for me. Quote:Words: 208 Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. (Can be completed after the Ultimus game) When a team wins the Championship, they very often go to the Disneyland in either Orlando, Florida or in CAlifornia. I belive that Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters is the person that should be getting the truck from the Ultimas Game as the MVP of that outing. Again, he had a killer game with 6 catches which netted him 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. I mean, look at the two games that Bradley Westfield had, he had 12 catches for over 200 yards as well as 5 Touchdowns. Are you kidding me? Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters deserves all the credit in the world. This was a game in which the Orange County Otters needed huge plays as Mike Boss found himself turning the ball over and big plays is what he got. Bradley Westfield had a 35 yard touchdown reception as well as a 44 yard touchdown reception in this game. You want to talk about game-changing plays? How about those two plays in the biggest game of the year. You do not have to look further than Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters. He deserves the truck and to take it home as he should get a huge payday. Quote:Words: 206 Matchup Nightmares: Pick an offensive and defensive player who will be going up against each other and why it will be a nightmare for one of them. (Must be completed before the playoff series you write about) When looking at the Orange County Otters, they are going to cause a huge problem for any team that they go against. Not only does the Orange County Otters have Robert Phelps and Bradley Westfield, but they also have Steven O Sullivan and JJ Reigns in which can cause huge matchup problems. But, I mean, you cannot even think of trying to just prevent the pass because they also have Burnsman and Jenkins who can make you pay on the ground. They have a huge passing attack and powerful offense that will cause issues for any defense. I think they showed this in the playoffs, especially when you look at what Bradley Westfield did. I think that the Orange County Otters can do that to a lot of teams, so you will need to plan when looking at. When you look at the Wraiths, they were going to need to plan around these guys from a secondary standpoint. Do you double team? They left the Tight ends wide open which is why they had 18 catches between the two of them. There is only so much you can do when you face the Orange County Otters. This has to be the matchup nightmare. Quote:Words: 203

For a while, I’ve been making the case that the Sabercats are often snubbed out of all sorts of things. This time it has never been more clear. San Jose out performed every team in the NSFC losing only once on the road and once at home to teams that weren’t the Arizona Outlaws or Orange County Otters. I stand by the belief that until the divisions are increased with more the divisions, there’s no uniqueness to the schedule and the fact that the San Jose Sabercats had a better overall record than the Yellowknife Wraiths proves that despite their lack of playoff appearance, the team was absolutely robbed. What they do here is interesting, but they have the one of the best rosters on paper and they present a slew of options that starts with recently resigned Wide Receiver Darren Smallwood who will be switching to a position that will not only help the team but also get him out of his motivation rut known as being third on the depth chart. What does that mean for the hungry and ready to roll San Jose Sabercats? Stay tuned to find out. I can guarantee you this, the team from California is not going to take the snub lying down and will come back with a roar. Code: 217words Going to Disneyland! It’s Mike Boss who will be the Most Valuable Player, and rightfullly so. Knowing what we know about the Sim, the game favors home team advantage, so the more interesting game to me is not the Ultimus Wraiths v Otters matchup that proved ASFC dominance once more, but rather the ASFC Championship game, where the Orange County Otters headed off to Arizona for the fourth time for the playoffs and upset the golliath that is the Outlaws. How to beat the Outlaws on paper is rather simple; force a shootout, and hope your receivers can torch the ever living daylights out of their weaker than everywhere else secondary. It's a good plan, and there are maybe four Quarterbacks who can do it, Boss is one of them, and where he usually fell short and putting up the picks, the man showed up with a flawless game. Putting up a 109.5 Rating and throwing three touchdowns and no interceptions, Boss put the team on his back and gave the upset of the century. It should also be pointed out that the Otters had arguably the weakest run game in the league, and so Boss was the offense and it carried the team. Code: 202 words Unsung Hero: J.D. Boom does not get the credit he deserved, and he went out on such a high note for both himself as well as the Oranage County Otters. Winchester may have been the defensive player of the Ulitmus game, but Boom was arguably a bigger factor in the win. At this point in the game, the score is tied with a touchdown a piece. Akselsen is sacked by one J.D. Boom and the ball goes loose. although the drive ends in a field goal, the defensive players get a stop and the offense for Orange County forces Yellowknife to start the second quarter staring a two score defecit. It's not to say they didn't put up a fight, but the difference is too much and the team from Canada is never able to really recover from the difference in points as every drive is met with another score by Orange County. That's the play of the game, and honestly where the argument that now-retired J.D. Boom was the unsung hero of that team. And rightfully so, the man was able to shift momentum and create the the only turnover in that otherwise flawless game, kudos to you Boom. Code: 201 words Matchup Nightmare The twenty-seven million dollar man, Josh Garden of Arizona, matched up against the Otters best Corner, Marc Spector, who still hasn’t told me if the logo is good. If you look at the stat line, it’s looks like Spector did about even with Garden, but that is just not the case. Garden had 5 drops, that means he dropped nearly half of all catchable passes thrown his way, to call that uncanny would be an understatement. Garden showed up, put up over a hundred yards and while he never found the end zone, he was able to stretch the field and average over 16 yards per catch, which meant nearly every ball he got was over a first down worth of distance, and he got the ball a few times. Garden showed up big for his team and proved he was worth every penny, beating the weak Otters defense down. Josh Garden, formerly of the Yellowknife Wraiths, was able to once again solidify his status as the best wide receiver in the league and shut down all those who thought otherwise after carrying Marc Spector to the nearest burn ward, which is something few receivers can hang their hat on. Granted, Bayley was still able to shut him down last season, but Garden is still a threat to any corner and it showed that had he caught more, he could have been good for 200 yards. Code: 236 words
