Robbed: Write about why a team that failed to make the playoffs should have over somebody else. Can be completed at any point
I believe the San Jose Sabercats should have made the playoffs over the eventual Champions, the Orange County Otters #hottake. I think that the Cats only did not make the playoffs because of a tiebreaker in which they lost. In fact, the Otters could have cemented themselves in the playoffs with a win on the last day of the year, but they lost. I believe that they should have not been in the playoffs, instead the Cats in there. Defensively, the Cats were one of the biggest reasons why the Cats were in that position in the first place. I think that given a series, the Cats would have beaten the Otters. Therefore, the San Jose Sabercats should have been in the National SImulation League playoffs over the Orange Counter Otters. Given the opportunity, I think the Cats could have gone into Arizona and done the same thing in which the Otters did. Then, I think we could have been the Wraiths as well to our first Ultimas Championship. Next season, we will prove that we deserved to be there. For that reason, I can confidently say that these Cats will prove everyone wrong and the hate around the league will be minimized. It will feel good to make this happen.
Playoff Series MVP: Choose an MVP for one of the playoff series and write about why you chose them. Must be completed after the playoff series you write about
In the first series between the Orange County Otters and the Arizona Outlaws in which saw the Orange County Otters winning by a score of 27-9, I believe that the MVP of this game was none other than Bradley Westfield. I think that Mike Boss could have been the easy person to pick here, but i believe that Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters deserves to be that. Westfield, on the night, had 6 catches for 64 yards as well as 3, count them, 3 touchdowns. He had a 15 yard touchdown reception in the first quarter to put the the Orange County Otters up 10-3. He then had a 3 yard touchdown reception in the second quarter to put the Orange County Otters up 17-3 and the Orange County Otters would not look back. Finally, in the third quarter, he put the cap on the night with a 2 yard touchdown pass on the board to put them up by the eventual final score. WIth those huge catches, the Orange County Otters' own Bradley Westfield deserves to be MVP of this specific game and rightly so. MIke Boss had 300 yards passing and no turnovers which is the key, but Wesfield gets the MVP for me.
Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. (Can be completed after the Ultimus game)
When a team wins the Championship, they very often go to the Disneyland in either Orlando, Florida or in CAlifornia. I belive that Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters is the person that should be getting the truck from the Ultimas Game as the MVP of that outing. Again, he had a killer game with 6 catches which netted him 145 yards and 2 touchdowns. I mean, look at the two games that Bradley Westfield had, he had 12 catches for over 200 yards as well as 5 Touchdowns. Are you kidding me? Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters deserves all the credit in the world. This was a game in which the Orange County Otters needed huge plays as Mike Boss found himself turning the ball over and big plays is what he got. Bradley Westfield had a 35 yard touchdown reception as well as a 44 yard touchdown reception in this game. You want to talk about game-changing plays? How about those two plays in the biggest game of the year. You do not have to look further than Bradley Westfield of the Orange County Otters. He deserves the truck and to take it home as he should get a huge payday.
Matchup Nightmares: Pick an offensive and defensive player who will be going up against each other and why it will be a nightmare for one of them. (Must be completed before the playoff series you write about)
When looking at the Orange County Otters, they are going to cause a huge problem for any team that they go against. Not only does the Orange County Otters have Robert Phelps and Bradley Westfield, but they also have Steven O Sullivan and JJ Reigns in which can cause huge matchup problems. But, I mean, you cannot even think of trying to just prevent the pass because they also have Burnsman and Jenkins who can make you pay on the ground. They have a huge passing attack and powerful offense that will cause issues for any defense. I think they showed this in the playoffs, especially when you look at what Bradley Westfield did. I think that the Orange County Otters can do that to a lot of teams, so you will need to plan when looking at. When you look at the Wraiths, they were going to need to plan around these guys from a secondary standpoint. Do you double team? They left the Tight ends wide open which is why they had 18 catches between the two of them. There is only so much you can do when you face the Orange County Otters. This has to be the matchup nightmare.
