As many know the DSFL came out too early and has too many teams. Unfortunately DDSPF16 does not let you have less than six teams. With even a big draft of 30 people DSFL teams would have only five actives on the teams if they were evenly distributed. This lead to small locker rooms. The Head Office has voted with the DSFL General Managers and we decided to contract the league to four teams. The other two teams will be bot teams run by General Managers who are looking forward to running teams, getting more practice with the sim and becoming more familiar with management in the DSFL. We had some General Managers who did not want to run bot teams, so we are moving people around.
First off the two teams that will be bots will be the Chicago Blues and Norfolk Seawolves. These teams will be drafted off by the other DSFL teams in a dispersal draft that will immediately follow the DSFL draft (exact date to follow). Also, so that way the Pythons do not have two bot teams in their conference we will be shifting the divisions around (will also be announced later).
Now we have a few General Manager changes to announce. Since Asipi was promoted to the NSFL and Jiggly did not want to run a bot team @Jiggly_333 is joining @124715 as co-GM of the Coyotes!
Tijuana has also been looking for a co-GM and working with @loco will be joined by @jaskins811 as his co-GM.
@PoloPro has taken over as head General Manager of the Bot squad in Chicago.
So I am now taking applications for the open General Manager spots of the Norfolk Seawolves! PM them to me if you are interested in the spot. Again though you will not be managing real players, you will get the chance to help choose exactly how you want the team to be made and will get further experience with the sim and how the DSFL works. This will not preclude you from applying in the future to a regular DSFL team, as most GMs would love this kind of experience if you want to later apply to a team with real players.
In your application please include
1 - Why you think you are best for the job
2 - Do you own DDSPF 16 and how familiar are you with it?
3 - Why do you want the job?
4 - Anything else you think I will find helpful.
Do not feel limited by these questions! Give me anything you think I will find useful in the search.
As always everyone please let me know if there are any questions or concerns!
