Ryan Sierra – DT – Orange County Otter
Season 5 Weekend PT #2 Therapy Session
The NSFL has been a fantastic league for someone who has never participated in a simulation league before. The biggest frustration I as a user has had was my initial Player update page and position selection. Choosing a position was an interesting roller coaster of advice. I was told to research what positions were in need, while another position for advice was to choose a position you feel would be most entertaining and fun to portray. When actually choosing my position for Ryan Sierra, I chose offensive lineman because it looked like it could have been the quickest route to the NSFL. After applying all earned TPE and completing my player page and update page, I looked forward to being drafted into the newly developed DSFL, a minor league for the NSFL. Two weeks later, we learned the NSFL would be implementing highly upgraded bots for all offensive lineman positions. This move made by the NSFL head office would effectively render my new created player useless in his current position. I chose to honor my initial decision of playing as an OL for the first season of the DSFL simply because they kept player groomed and controlled players for the entire league. This was a the only true frustration I had with the NSFL.
