Good Morning/Evening, fellow future draft hopefuls!
I wanted to do something a tad different and one of the posts here (The S1 Mock Draft Point Task) got me thinking of an idea. Where does a majority of the NSFL see the rest of the league and where do we believe everyone is going? This is where this post comes in. I've done a tally/average of how each prospect fared in the eyes of most of the people that posted in the thread.
For everyone that didn't make it, it's NOT a mock draft, like Kel Miper's previous post (You better watch your back, fam. People are not beds, so stop sleeping on them). It's more of how most prospects are seen in the light of the draft a little more than 48 hours away. If this does really well, and you all feel that I should continue this up until the draft on Thursday, I can do a daily update for Tuesday & Wednesday and we can see who went up and/or went down the list. Keep in mind that I stopped tallying up until 4 in the afternoon, EST.
I thought about making a podcast, but my voice is shot (went HAM at a karaoke bar yesterday. Lmaoo)
To give a clarification on how I got the ratings, it's fairly simple. The more people that I tally put a prospect in their own personal mock (prospect gets one vote for every person that places him in their mock draft) gets rated higher and vice versa. Ties are settled by the average pick they are slated to be. No rounding up, so the decimals play a factor for the tie breaker.
It's pretty late here, so I'm going to leave the descriptions of players for another time. If you wish to add to it, feel free to throw a mini description of your character and I can easily copy and paste it onto your name.
With my initial tallying, I rounded up 45 different prospects with at least one person placing them in their mock drafts.
Here is the Positional Breakdown of those 45 Draft Prospects:
QB: 4
RB: 4

OL: 6
Total Offense: 24
DT: 3
DE: 5
LB: 3
CB: 4

Total Defense: 18

After that, it was time to tally up the votes and see where everyone matches up.
Here's the Positional Breakdown for the remaining 25:

And there you have it! Seems like everyone is gunning for that number one spot, the smell of competition is getting closer with each closing minute. Friendships amongst the players will come into fruition when the teams get settled into their new homes. But let's not forget the rivalries that come with the nature of competition. It has a natural selection feel in the air.
Are you the predator or the prey?
The hunter or the hunted?
The favorite or the underdog?
The peanut butter or the jelly?
...Only one way to find out.
