This will be a brief announcement regarding minor cap penalties. There are two separate issues that have come to the attention of the Head Office.
The first of which was noticed by several users. The Colorado Yeti incorrectly had Johnathan Saint listed as a Free Agent in S6. Incorrectly Posting Contracts leads to a $1,000,000 fine in Cap Space. The Yeti are therefore fined $1,000,000 in their S6 Cap.
The Philadelphia Liberty have been incorrectly paying one player, Kieran O'Connell, $500,000 inSeason 4 and season 5 when he is a 205 TPE player and therefore is actually owed $1,000,000 each season. The Liberty are therefore fined $1,000,000 for each season they had the incorrectly posted contract, plus the $1,000,000 they owed O'Connell. Additionally since it would put them $1 over the salary cap in S5 they are punished by doubling that amount to $2 in S6. The Liberty are therefore fined $3,000,002 on their S6 Cap.
If there are any questions please let me know.
