Hey diary! Hope this finds you doing very well! I'm out on vacation just kicking my feet back and drinking a beer. Blue moon to be exact.. it's definitely the best beer, especially with a frozen mug and an orange slices. Anywho, I'm sitting out here by the ocean.. I know I said I don't have a place by the ocean like typical football players.. and that's true it's not my place. It's my cousin Gregory Fletcher's place. We've been training for two weeks straight. A week at my place and now a week at his place. His ocean place is in Florida. We mostly do beach training. It's a bitch but it definitely helps on the football field. We decided to finish our two straight weeks of training with a few beers and to kick back on the porch. I brought my diary alone with me yes, but fuck you for judging. Gregory and his wife are arguing inside and my wife is putting down Glenn McPoyal junior. So I'm taking this time to relax on the hammock and write a short little journal entry probably won't talk about football too much in this entry. But don't worry you football entry will come soon. Very soon. I just wanted to say hello to you all and get some writing in before the night was over. After all I do have quota to meet here. Oh well. I better put this thing away before the wife comes out and starts nagging me for being on here. Looking forward to see you all very soon!
Hello diary!! It's been a few days! I have been busy with life stuff. You know how it goes. I'll give you a few updates before we get into the business. As it usually goes. But I have some team updates to go with this as well! But I'll start with my family life! So we just got back to Albuquerque about two days ago. The training with my cousin Gregory Fletcher was very intense. We spent an entire week out at the beach training and running drills. It will definitely reflect in my skill level this next season with the Wraiths. But time will tell on that. The last night we were there Gregory Fletcher threw a party for our family and friends. It was pretty wild and I cut loose and had fun. After that we had to get up early and fly back home. Something you all don't know about me is I have my pilots license. I also own my own airplane. If there is any airplane lovers out there I have a Gulfstream G650. I fly it myself so I don't have to hire a pilot. Plus I just absolutely love flying. It's possibly the best thing in the entire world. I do have my own personal mechanic that I hired to fix my plane and do all my daily checks. Since we got back we haven't don't a whole lot. Just been talking with old teammates. We've been doing some spring cleaning and i have been studying the fuck out of my playbook so that way I can be better! I'm not allowed to talk to my gms until organized team activities, also known as ota’s, because it's not allowed for some reason. I'm not sure I just know it's bullshit. But some things I've seen over social media that's happened to the Wraiths are crazy! We traded our first round draft pick and next seasons number two, I think it's the second round pick next season. In return we got non other than legendary running back Boss Tweed. A definite blockbuster trade. He is the best running back in our leagues history so I'm pretty excited about playing with him. It's going to be a big improvement for our team. Some sad news could come out of this though. My old friend and teammate will probably spend the rest of his days in Portland with the pythons and I will probably never get to play with him again. But football is a business and that's how it goes. In the season seven draft we officially have zero draft picks. That does kind of suck but we still should be able to get a decent pick in the second round. I'm excited to see who it is and to see who my new teammates will be. I will mostly likely tell my diary who we drafted. Who am I kidding I am going to tell you who we drafted! On a unrelated note, I have a twitter account, as most football players do. A reporter who will remain nameless picked a fight with me. I was bored so I picked back but I realized I need to be an example for the kids so I'm putting an end to it. After all he is a really good guy and my favorite reporter. And there was absolutely no meaning to anything that was said. I think I've covered pretty much everything that has happened here recently. I will jump in now with the rest of my season six, my rookie year, game by game play by play! So I just got done with the yeti game. That was our second game of the year. We won that game and currently we sat at a one and one record. Which is the best or the worst. I was satisfied with it though. Definitely hungry for more wins though. Our next game, the third of season, was against our division rivals in the Baltimore Hawks. That's the team my cousin, Gregory Fletcher plays for. We always get caught up in the competition and we're always trying to one up the other. This was the first time we could actually go head to head though. This was a good but ultimately a tough one. These games with the Hawks are always close though. If we win or lose they are always very competitive. So here comes the game! We start the game on defense. We kick off to the Hawks! Their very first play of the game BOOM we sacked blocksdale! A great way to start the game. And a great way to set the tone for the game. They wouldn't be able to do anything this drive and they would go three in out and punt the ball! It's our turn now. And we are hungry. First play is a five yard run. The very next is a screen play that ends up going for thirty one yards! The next play big Mat throws the ball to me and I am able to wiggle around for a gain of nine yards! I was actually brought down by Gregory Fletcher! That got us down to their nine yard line. Three plays later we were in the end zone for a touchdown! It was a pass caught by Bailey cook. None Forfeit kicks the extra point and it's good! We went up seven to nothing early in the first quarter. It was a hell of start for us. Dominating on both sides of the football. This had to stay like that if we wanted to win the game. And now it's kick off time for us! They have the ball now. They got a couple of eight and nine yard plays to keep them going. And then out of absolutely nowhere blocksdale escapes pressure from our defense and throws a twenty five yard touchdown pass. Unbelievable. This isn't how our defense was supposed to respond! They would stall out on our twenty three yardline. They would attempt a forty yard Field goal. Their kicker, Turk Turkleton, is possible the best kicker in the league. The snap is good. It gets held down but it is no good! A closer look and the laces were in and not out! Messing with the kick and we get out of a good drive by the Hawks with having no points scored against us. You wouldn't believe what happened but we went three and out. In second down Mat Akselsen gets sacked. We can't convert on third down and we have to punt. We punt the ball to the Hawks. Now they have the ball. One completion for now gain and two incomplete passes mean they also went three and out. The punt the ball back to us now! Mat Akselsen throws the ball to Eric Kennedy for a seventeen yard gain! We get two straight incomplete passes. On third down Mat Akselsen throws a damn interception. Guess who intercepts it? If you have guessed Gregory Fletcher you'd be right. My bastard cousin got the pick on Mat Akselsen. On their first down and second down they get two straight incomplete passes. Third down and ten and they only pick up eight! We got out of the turn over without giving up any points. They punt it back to us! After the punt it is the end of the first quarter! We are still up seven to zero at this point. Start of the second quarter and we have the ball. We are all hoping we can get some more points on the board before the half. Kennedy runs the ball a total of five straight times for a total of twenty four yards. Mat throws it up for a thirty eight yard completion getting us to the Hawks seventeen yard. We unfortunately stal out three plays later. It's field goal attempt time! It's only a twenty six yard field goal. But anything can happen. The snap is good, the hold is good and the kick is up.. and it's good!! Now the Wraiths are up ten to zero early in the second quarter! We kick it off to them and they end up on their own six yard line. We got them in a pretty good spot! Their very first play blocksdale throws for a twenty seven yard pass, getting them out of the sticky situation they were in. Fortunately after that, they stall out again and are forced to punt it away. Our turn! We run for two yards on first and second down and we of course have an incomplete pass on third down and six. We took another three and out and now have to punt it away. The Hawks now have the ball back again. They would go three and out have to punt the ball back to us. The first play of this drive is a pass thrown to me! It would go for a seven yard reception! Two plays later on first down I would get thrown to again! Unfortunately he wasn't in Target and the ball falls incomplete. A few plays later it's first and goal on the six yard line with a minute and a half left. Mat hands it off to Kennedy he fights his way and it's a touchdown! Forfeit kicks the extra point and it is good again! Before the end of the half we are up seventeen to zero! This half couldn't of gone better. With about a minute left in the game the Hawks get the ball back. They would get pretty far but they would fortunately run out of time and can't get anything before the half. Score of the half time was seventeen to zero. Like I said couldn't have wanted it another way. Our defense is playing absolutely lights out football and our offense for the most part is doing pretty well. Unfortunately I am getting tired and i'm about to go bed for the night. So this is it for this entry. It took three pages for me to get this long post it. But flip the page and you will be able to read the very next journal entry. Good night journal!
Ahh hello journal! I always love cracking you open and writing inside of you. It feels great. Always does. But it's been I think two days since I last wrote in here. Not much at all has really happened. To note though, the draft is tomorrow! I'm very much looking forward to watching it and seeing who we pick up. At this point I have absolutely zero clue as to who I think we'll pick up. I always love draft day though. It's always super exciting. In my personal life I have just been hanging out with my wife Jasmine and my son Glenn McPoyal junior. Some good old family bonding. I love it! All right let's get things back on track to the football game. So last I left off it is the end of the half. We come out if the half with a seventeen to zero lead. It's the kick off and we now have the ball. First play of the second half and it's a penalty. It's now first and twenty five. And Mat throws an interception. The very first play. It's returned for a touchdown. And Turkletons kick is good and now our lead got a lot smaller. It's now seventeen to seven early in the second quarter. Not the way we would like to start. Good thing we have such a good lead. It's now our turn. We have the ball and we are in the move now. On first and ten on their 48 yard line. Mat throws me the ball on a post route and I come down with the pass for a thirteen yard catch. After that our offense stalls out. Luckily we're in field goal range. We go for a forty six yard field go. Once again everything goes absolutely beautifully and forfeit gets the points. It's now twenty to seven in the third quarter. After a long forty yard kick return they now have the ball. Luckily they can't get anything going and they go three and out. The second play after the punt Mat rushes. He breaks a tackle and jukes out another guy. Before we know it he's in the end zone for a long forty seven yard touchdown run! Extra point is good and now the score is twenty seven to seven in late in the third quarter. We now have a twenty yard point lead and it feels pretty damn good. We have all the momentum at this point in the game. We kick it off and they return it for another forty four yard return. Thankfully they again go three and out. They punt the ball off and now it's our turn to score again hopefully at least. It's second and two, mat looks at me and throws it to me. It's a five yard catch for the first down! Brought down by my cousin Gregory Fletcher. A few plays later it is now fourth and six. Mat throws a twenty four yard pass for the first down. Mat throws to me and it falls incomplete. The next play bubba nuck runs it in the end zone for an eight yard rushing touchdown. This is all I have time for right now so good night to all!
