[div align=\\\"center\\\"]S9 DSFL Combine[/div]
Welcome to the DSFL combine. We have a great group of prospects out here showing off what they can do. We’ll follow each position group through today’s events.
Our quarterbacks are Chris Orosz, Zenyou Wozy, Chris Bennett, Adriana Falconi, and Joliet L. Christ. Our running backs group consists of D’Pez Poopsie, Juan Atatyme, Achilles Hondo, and Danny Grithead. Our receiver group is made up of Taylor Peterson, Felix Hasselhoff, and Kazimir Oles. Defensive line we have Avery Woodham and Ryland Morley. Our defensive backs group is Shannon Hobbs, Lucari Felix, Con Nair, Steven Oats, and Nate Piazza. Last but not least, we have our one kicker in Derrick DeMarco.
In our QB group, we have a rew pocket passers in Falconi, Orosz, and Wozy, a game manager in Bennett, and a scrambler in Christ.
First up, we have the quarterbacks competing in the 40 yard dash. Of the five quarterbacks we have here today, everyone is expecting Joliet L. Christ to put up the best time as he’s the only mobile quarterback out of the bunch. It looks like the results are in for the quarterbacks, and here they are:
Joliet L. Christ - 4.76 seconds
Chris Bennett - 5.12 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 5.23 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 5.26 seconds
Chris Orosz - 5.29 seconds
Christ doesn’t disappoint us here and he’s the only QB to break the five second mark. All things considered, not too bad for this group who don’t really pride themselves on being very mobile outside of Christ.
Then we have the bench press. Chris Orosz, coming into the combine at 6’8” and 260 lbs looks to be the favorite here as we check in on how they’re all doing. It looks like we have the results now.
Chris Orosz - 25 reps
Chris Bennett - 23 reps
Zenyou Wozy - 17 reps
Adriana Falconi - 15 reps
Joliet L. Christ - 12 reps
Orosz impresses the scouts with his 25 bench reps and Bennett comes in second again here with 23. Not a bad performance so far from Bennett who is my favorite QB in the combine today.
The next even is the vertical jump. This one is really a toss up as it’s hard to evaluate just based on game film. My money would be on Christ with him being the most athletic of the bunch but you never can tell.
Joliet L. Christ - 35.75 inches
Christ Bennett - 33.50 inches
Chris Orosz - 33.50 inches
Zenyou Wozy - 33.25 inches
Adriana Falconi - 32.00 inches
My guess was correct, Christ picks up the win here with a 35.75 inch vertical leap. This will actually stand up very well to the rest of the positions here today. Bennett forever the bridesmaid never the bride takes home silver yet again in the vertical jump.
We’ll make our way to the broad jump now. Again, Christ has to be the favorite here.
Joliet L. Christ - 119.75 inches
Chris Bennet - 118.10 inches
Chris Orosz - 117.25 inches
Zenyou Wozy - 114.75 inches
Adriana Falconi - 114.10 inches
I feel like a broken record here but Christ takes first in the broad jump followed by Bennett yet again.
Alright, on to the 20 yard shuttle now. I would anticipate our boy Christ to take the cake here. Let’s check the results.
Joliet L. Christ - 4.80 seconds
Christ Bennet - 4.95 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 5.10 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 5.15 seconds
Chris Orosz - 5.30 seconds
Our second to last event for the QBs is the 3 cone drill.
Joliet L. Christ - 7.43 seconds
Christ Bennett - 7.73 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 7.88 seconds
Chris Orosz - 7.91 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 8.00 seconds
Christ Bennet comes up just .3 seconds short of taking home the gold in this one while Christ seems to be running away with most of these events today.
The final event for these quarterbacks is the wonderlic test. I guess this is supposed to check your IQ. I’m not really sure how it all works but we do have their scores now.
Chris Bennett - 34
Joliet L. Christ - 32
Adriana Falconi - 31
Chris Orosz - 31
Zenyou Wozy - 29
Finally Bennet gets first place in an event, and some would argue it’s the most important one, too. So congratulations to him and a very nice job by all of the quarterbacks out there today. If you want to run an offense that involves a QB with wheels, the choice is obviously Christ. If you want someone who can read defenses and make the smart play, I think you have to go with a Bennett. Really, no wrong choices here, though.
The next group we’ll take a look at is the running backs. Poopsie and Grithead are both all-purpose backs who can carry as well as catch and Hondo and Atatyme are both blocking backs who could end up leading the way for one of Poopsie or Grithead. We have some pretty big guys out there going through these events. Atatyme weighing in at 260 lbs and Hondo at 250, I’d expect a lot better performances at the bench press than the forty but we’ll check it out now.
First up is the 40 yard dash. Nothing overly surprising as our bigger competitors struggle a little bit in this one.
D’Pez Poopsie - 4.57 seconds
Danny Grithead - 4.71 seconds
Juan Atatyme - 4.71 seconds
Achilles Hondo - 4.72 seconds
It’s a small group but Poopsie is the fastest of the bunch.
Now we’ll move on to the bench press. Atatyme and Hondo have the be the favorites here.
Juan Atatyme - 34 reps
Achilles Hondo - 34 reps
Danny Grithead - 29 reps
D’Pez Poopsie - 27 reps
Poopsie has the best 40 time but the fewest reps here as Hondo and Atatyme tie with 34 each.
Here we go again with the vertical jump which is a complete toss up.
D’Pez Poopsie - 37.75 inches
Achilles Hondo - 37.25 inches
Juan Atatyme - 36.75 inches
Danny Grithead - 36.50 inches
Same with the broad jump.
Achilles Hondo - 127.35 inches
Juan Atatyme - 126.50 inches
D’Pez Poopsie - 126.50 inches
Danny Grithead - 124.90 inches
Achilles Hondo impresses in both of these events with a second and a first place finish.
Now onto the 20 yard shuttle. This could be insightful into getting an idea of how quick these guys can change direction. Let’s take a look at how they performed.
Danny Grithead - 5.05 seconds
D’Pez Poopsie - 5.05 seconds
Achilles Hondo - 5.20 seconds
Juan Atatyme - 5.25 seconds
While no one really jumped off the sheet here, Grithead and Poopsie both perform well enough to tie for first in this group.
The 3 cone drill is another event that will test the player’s agility. Let’s see if the same guys end up on top.
Danny Grithead - 7.55 seconds
D’Pez Poopsie - 7.64 seconds
Juan Atatyme - 7.76 seconds
Achilles Hondo - 7.85 seconds
It looks like Atatyme and Hondo swap here but Grithead remains in first. This is a tough group of guys to compare with the different play styles.
Next is the wonderlic and let me tell you, these guys did not do too well in this area.
Juan Atatyme - 11
Achiles Hondo - 9
Danny Grithead - 4
D’Pez Poopsie 2
Overall, these guys performed pretty well. It really depends on what kind of back you’re looking for. Obvioulsy if you want a blocker you’d go with Hondo or Atatyme. If you’re looking for someone to carry the rock, you might look at a guy like Poopsie.
Next, we have receivers. It’s a small group and they’re all pretty close looking at the numbers. We’ve got two guys who rely on their speed and agility and ability to run crisp routes in Peterson and Hasselhoff and Oles who is just all out speed.
In the 40 yard dash, they’re separated by just .18 seconds.
Kazimir Oles - 4.55 seconds
Taylor Peterson - 4.58 seconds
Felix Hasselhoff - 4.77 seconds
Both Peterson and Oles impress here. What’s more impressive is Oles running a 4.55 at 6’2” and 225 lbs.
Next up is the bench press. These are mostly small guys, aside from Oles, so I’m not expecting anything mind blowing here.
Taylor Peterson - 10 reps
Felix Hasselhoff - 10 reps
Kazimir Oles - 9 reps
Surprisingly, the biggest WR puts up one less rep than the others but when we’re talking ten and nine reps, it’s really not a huge difference, they performed worse than the QBs and RBs so far.
The vertical jump results remain fairly similar to that of the RBs here.
Taylor Peterson - 37.00 inches
Felix Hasselhoff - 36.75 inches
Kazimir Oles - 36.25 inches
I really expected Oles to come out on top in this event but surprisingly he performs the worst of the three. We’ll see if the same happens in the broad jump next.
Taylor Peterson - 124.35 inches
Felix Hasselhoff - 123.35 inches
Kazimir Oles - 124.90 inches
And it does. Same order of Peterson, Hasselhoff, and Oles for both the vertical and the broad jump.
Now let’s see how quick these guys are with the 20 yard shuttle.
Felix Hasselhoff - 4.40 seconds
Kazimir Oles - 4.40 seconds
Taylor Peterson - 4.45 seconds
Here we see Oles and Hasselhoff tie with a 4.40 second time with Peterson just behind them at 4.45 seconds.
Moving to the cone drill, should be interesting to see how things shake out.
Kazimir Oles - 6.98 seconds
Felix Hasselhoff - 7.13 seconds
Taylor Peterson - 7.16 seconds
And here we see why Oles is getting mentioned in talks of first overall pick. Very impressive work as he breaks the seven second mark, one of only two who will do that today.
And now the wonderlic test, definitely not quite as important for a WR as it is for a QB but could differentiate a couple guys.
Felix Hasselhoff - 19
Taylor Peterson - 18
Kazimir Oles - 16
Not a huge difference between the three. Is a 16 in the wonderlic worth dropping Oles out of the first overall spot? I’m not sure I’m ready to say that but he does perform worst of the group.
Now we’re moving onto the defensive linemen where we have just two prospects. We have Morley who is more of a balanced defensive end as well as Woodham who relies on his strength to overpower the offensive linemen.
Let’s take a look at their 40 times here.
Avery Woodham - 4.61 seconds
Ryland Morley - 4.75 seconds
It looks like Woodham got the better of Morley here and takes the best 40 time for a defensive lineman.
And now what should be their bread and butter, the bench press.
Ryland Morley - 38 reps
Avery Woodham - 33 reps
If you had asked me, before looking at their numbers, who would have performed better in the 40 I would have said Morley just like I would have expected Woodham to perform better at the bench press. I guess you can’t really pigeonhole these guys, though.
The vertical jump, where these guy with the strong legs should excel, ought to be a good event for these two.
Ryland Morley - 38.00 inches
Avery Woodham - 37.25 inches
Both of them put up solid numbers at this event, which shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
Now onto the broad jump, where again, their lower body strength should come into play.
Ryland Morley - 127.05 inches
Avery Woodham - 126.60 inches
Less than half an inch separated these two in this event. These guys are incredibly evenly matched so it’ll be interesting to see how scouts can differentiate between these two.
Now the 20 yard shuttle, let’s see if they can get their big bodies moving and changing direction quickly.
Ryland Morley - 4.95 seconds
Avery Woodham - 5.10 seconds
Only five pounds .15 seconds separates these two here. Will the 3 cone drill be the same song and dance?
Ryland Morley - 7.52 seconds
Avery Woodham - 7.88 seconds
Same results but this time Morley is .36 seconds quicker than Woodham. Still impressive to get 300 pounds moving like that.
And now the wonderlic where these guys aren’t worst in class but also aren’t the best.
Ryland Morley - 15
Avery Woodham - 9
As I said, these two are very evenly matched. Looking at their combine results, I couldn’t tell you to pick one over the other, they’re that close. I don’t envy any scouts having to make a choice here, they both seem solid, though.
Now we move onto our defensive backs. We have a couple man to man guys like Hobbs and Felix but also Nair who is an all around corner as well as safeties Piazza and Oats.
Arguably one of the most important events for a defensive back has to be the 40 yard dash. Let’s look at how this group performed.
Shannon Hobbs - 4.52 seconds
Con Nair - 4.66 seconds
Nate Piazza - 4.75 seconds
Lucari Felix - 4.77 seconds
Steven Oats - 4.85 seconds
Hobbs leads the way here with a 4.52 second 40 time, actually the best of the day. A very impressive showing out of this group as a whole, though.
Now onto the bench press. I would expect the safeties to perform a little better while some of the smaller guys might struggle here.
Con Nair - 25 reps
Nate Piazza - 24 reps
Steven Oats - 22 reps
Shannon Hobbs - 17 reps
Lucari Felix - 15 reps
Con Nair with a very impressive 25 reps here. He looks like he could be the best of the bunch based off of these two events alone.
Now we’ll move to the vertical jump where these guys will have to use every ounce of strength they’ve got to impress.
Shannon Hobbs - 38.25 inches
Nate Piazza - 38.00 inches
Con Nair - 37.50 inches
Lucari Felix - 37.25 inches
Steven Oats - 37.00 inches
Here the small statured Hobbs takes it with a 38.25 vertical jump, also the best of the day, surprisingly.
In the broad jump, they leave it all on the line again, trying to get any edge in the draft that they can.
Nate Piazza - 126.60 inches
Shannon Hobbs - 126.25 inches
Con Nair - 126.10 inches
Lucari Felix - 124.70 inches
Steven Oats - 124.10
Though Con Nair ends up middle of the pack here, I still think his 126.10 inches is sufficient and not bad enough to take him out of consideration as best defensive back entering the DSFL this year.
In order to keep up with the Oles and Hasselhoffs of the DFSL, these guys need to perform well in the 20 yard shuttle. Let’s see how they stack up.
Lucari Felix - 4.45 seconds
Con Nair - 4.45 seconds
Nate Piazza - 4.55 seconds
Shannon Hobbs - 4.65 seconds
Steven Oats - 4.95 seconds
Lucari Felix takes home his first win in a very important drill for these defensive backs. This drill along with the 3 cone drill could be very telling as to how well they’ll be able to cover the WRs at this level.
The three cone drill was a good one all around for this group.
Lucari Felix - 6.98 seconds
Nate Piazza - 7.04 seconds
Con Nair - 7.13 seconds
Shannon Hobbs - 7.16 seconds
Steven Oats - 7.52 seconds
Felix impresses again here and he ties Oles for the best 3 cone drill time of the day.
Now the wonderlic, we have one guy who was head and shoulders above the rest of the group here.
Nate Piazza - 31
Con Nair - 22
Shannon Hobbs - 17
Lucari Felix - 16
Steven Oats - 14
A very impressive 31 for Piazza. He actually beat a few QBs in the wonderlic which is pretty shocking if you ask me.
I still stand by what I said earlier regarding Con Nair being the best defensive back entering the DSFL this year but Felix’s results in the shuttle and cone drill put him a close second in my mind.
And now onto the last group, the kickers. Unfortunately we only have one in Derrick DeMarco who is more about accuracy than he is power.
I’ll just speed through these here, he was one of the worst in every category but the wonderlic. He tried, it just wasn’t meant to be.
Wonderlic - 21
40 Yard Dash - 5.61 seconds
Bench Press - 5 reps
Vertical Jump - 28.50 inches
Broad Jump - 104.30 inches
20 Yard Shuttle - 5.85 seconds
3 Cone Drill - 8.57 seconds
So now let’s take a look at our top performers at this year’s unofficial combine. The best performer in the Wonderlic was Chris Bennett with his score of 34. While our best 40 Yard Dash time was 4.52 put up by Shannon Hobbs. Ryland Morley put up the most Bench Reps at 38. Our best at the Vertical Jump was also Shannon Hobbs with 38.25 inches. In our Broad Jump we saw Achilles Hondon put on a display with 127.35 inches. Our quickest at the 20 Yard Shuttle was a tie between Felix Hasselhoff and Kazimir Oles at 4.40 seconds. And finally, we had Felix Lucari and Kazimir Oles tie in the 3 Cone Drill with times of 6.98 seconds.
Congratulations to all who participated and best of luck in the draft!
(If anyone is curious as to how I came up with the times or stats for this, feel free to reach out to me and I’ll be more than happy to share with you. It was basically a variation of what sapp does for the NSFL draft but I wasn’t exactly sure how to run it for the DSFL. I wanted to leave some room so guys will improve and then perform better for the NSFL combine while also not saying everyone was awful. I think I found a decent balance between the two and I hope everyone enjoyed.)

Joliet L. Christ - 4.76 seconds
Chris Bennett - 5.12 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 5.23 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 5.26 seconds
Chris Orosz - 5.29 seconds
Christ doesn’t disappoint us here and he’s the only QB to break the five second mark. All things considered, not too bad for this group who don’t really pride themselves on being very mobile outside of Christ.
Then we have the bench press. Chris Orosz, coming into the combine at 6’8” and 260 lbs looks to be the favorite here as we check in on how they’re all doing. It looks like we have the results now.
Chris Orosz - 25 reps
Chris Bennett - 23 reps
Zenyou Wozy - 17 reps
Adriana Falconi - 15 reps
Joliet L. Christ - 12 reps
Orosz impresses the scouts with his 25 bench reps and Bennett comes in second again here with 23. Not a bad performance so far from Bennett who is my favorite QB in the combine today.
The next even is the vertical jump. This one is really a toss up as it’s hard to evaluate just based on game film. My money would be on Christ with him being the most athletic of the bunch but you never can tell.
Joliet L. Christ - 35.75 inches
Christ Bennett - 33.50 inches
Chris Orosz - 33.50 inches
Zenyou Wozy - 33.25 inches
Adriana Falconi - 32.00 inches
My guess was correct, Christ picks up the win here with a 35.75 inch vertical leap. This will actually stand up very well to the rest of the positions here today. Bennett forever the bridesmaid never the bride takes home silver yet again in the vertical jump.
We’ll make our way to the broad jump now. Again, Christ has to be the favorite here.
Joliet L. Christ - 119.75 inches
Chris Bennet - 118.10 inches
Chris Orosz - 117.25 inches
Zenyou Wozy - 114.75 inches
Adriana Falconi - 114.10 inches
I feel like a broken record here but Christ takes first in the broad jump followed by Bennett yet again.
Alright, on to the 20 yard shuttle now. I would anticipate our boy Christ to take the cake here. Let’s check the results.
Joliet L. Christ - 4.80 seconds
Christ Bennet - 4.95 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 5.10 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 5.15 seconds
Chris Orosz - 5.30 seconds
Our second to last event for the QBs is the 3 cone drill.
Joliet L. Christ - 7.43 seconds
Christ Bennett - 7.73 seconds
Zenyou Wozy - 7.88 seconds
Chris Orosz - 7.91 seconds
Adriana Falconi - 8.00 seconds
Christ Bennet comes up just .3 seconds short of taking home the gold in this one while Christ seems to be running away with most of these events today.
The final event for these quarterbacks is the wonderlic test. I guess this is supposed to check your IQ. I’m not really sure how it all works but we do have their scores now.
Chris Bennett - 34
Joliet L. Christ - 32
Adriana Falconi - 31
Chris Orosz - 31
Zenyou Wozy - 29
Finally Bennet gets first place in an event, and some would argue it’s the most important one, too. So congratulations to him and a very nice job by all of the quarterbacks out there today. Juan Atatyme - 34 reps
Achilles Hondo - 34 reps
Danny Grithead - 29 reps
D’Pez Poopsie - 27 reps
Poopsie has the best 40 time but the fewest reps here as Hondo and Atatyme tie with 34 each.
Here we go again with the vertical jump which is a complete toss up.
D’Pez Poopsie - 37.75 inches
Achilles Hondo - 37.25 inches
Juan Atatyme - 36.75 inches
Danny Grithead - 36.50 inches
Same with the broad jump.
Achilles Hondo - 127.35 inches
Juan Atatyme - 126.50 inches
D’Pez Poopsie - 126.50 inches
Danny Grithead - 124.90 inches
Achilles Hondo impresses in both of these events with a second and a first place finish.
Now onto the 20 yard shuttle. This could be insightful into getting an idea of how quick these guys can change direction. Let’s take a look at how they performed.
Danny Grithead - 5.05 seconds
D’Pez Poopsie - 5.05 seconds
Achilles Hondo - 5.20 seconds

Next is the wonderlic and let me tell you, these guys did not do too well in this area.
Juan Atatyme - 11

D’Pez Poopsie 2

Taylor Peterson - 124.35 inches
Felix Hasselhoff - 123.35 inches
Kazimir Oles - 124.90 inches
And it does. Same order of Peterson, Hasselhoff, and Oles for both the vertical and the broad jump.
Now let’s see how quick these guys are with the 20 yard shuttle.
Felix Hasselhoff - 4.40 seconds
Kazimir Oles - 4.40 seconds
Taylor Peterson - 4.45 seconds
Here we see Oles and Hasselhoff tie with a 4.40 second time with Peterson just behind them at 4.45 seconds.
Moving to the cone drill, should be interesting to see how things shake out.
