Updating has always been the biggest "barrier to entry" for sim leagues. This sheet was made in an effort to help new users, people who struggle with the updating process, or anybody who doesn't like updating and/or wishes that there were an easier way to do it.
It is not 100% automated but the hope is that it's a useful tool nonetheless while people smarter than me can try and figure out how to 100% automate updates.
The link below goes to a view only google sheet, make a copy of it or download it for yourself to use! We will be adding updates to it over time (like a position/archetype switch helper tool). It should be somewhat self-explanatory, but you basically input in your claims, then it helps do the math for you, and then you can copy and paste a text box directly into your update thread.
Huge shout out to @enigmatic for initially creating the tool and then allowing us to start tweaking/adding to it. I'll pin the tool along with instructions in certain places and adding a link to it to @SwagSloth's outstanding rookie guide. I've also shared it with rookie mentors, DSFL GMs, and NSFL GMs as well.
This is basically the "official" NSFL updater helper tool until someone is able to make something better!
Please feel free to PM me with any questions or suggestions for improvement!
