If I were to mashup two mascots it would be the New York Silverbacks and the New Orleans Secondline mascots. This creates a full parade band of gorillas. Gorillas waddling around on their short legs with giant bass drums strapped to their chest is just funny. Who would be better than a gorilla in getting the loudest drum beat? A gorilla might have trouble operating the more complex brass instruments, but they can beat a drum better than anyone. Now I must confess, although a group of gorillas playing the drums and tubas is fun, This is not my goal. My real goal is to build the ultimate football team and parade of gorillas would be unstoppable. The parade is just to maximize the number of gorillas. A full offensive and defensive line of giant primates? Pancakes and TFLs for days. The opposing quarterbacks would not last a quarter. Their last sight in life would be a giant gorilla charging them in a cute band hat.

This one is quite interesting because I want to mash someone up with HON but I can't think of a team to land on because we have such a unique identity of a young team that is honestly almost to the top but just quite not there so I just couldn't see us making a super teamwork. BUT I think after looking at the top two offenses in the league, I'd have to go with the Baltimore Hawks and the Yellowknife Wraiths. This team is very amazing and in the situation all around they could make it work. This superteam like previously said before would be quite dominant simply because of the offense. The mashup of Suzuka and de la Rosa would be quite amazing and honestly is something that any QB in this league would enjoy so much. McDummy Jr and Boudreaux probably couldn't split the snaps but we'd have the option to mash them up into one player creating the ultimate maxed-out QB with two amazing WRs!

Imagine combining a generational talent at QB like Patrick Mahomes with the fantastic beast that is Derrick Henry. An arm that can make any throw, elite football IQ, and the ability to extend plays with his scrambling and creativity... mashed with pure, raw power. You’d have a quarterback with the vision, arm strength, and accuracy to throw for 500 yards, and the size, speed, and power to beat defenders when he tucks the ball and runs.

It's the ultimate version of a dual-threat QB, but what would it look like? Theoretically, we could have a player totaling over 7000 all-purpose yards since Mahomes has thrown for more than 5000 yards and Henry has run for over 2000 yards. The big question remains: Could this mash throw a Touchdown to himself? Probably not, since that's the only skill this monster lacks: the ability to catch the football.

Anyway, good luck stopping this monster.

Combining my DSFL team with my ISFL team truly gives us the greatest mascot to ever grace the football sidelines: The Yetidore. An abominable snowman who wears a mask and wrestles when he's not at football games. The Yetidore has the size of Andre the Giant with the moves of a Rey Mysterio Jr. Add to that the charisma of Latino Heat and you have a character the fans will pay to see despite the win-loss record of either Tijuana or Colorado. He also embraces the villain role very well, sometimes hamming it up with the referees and other higher ups in the ISFL To cement his heel role, he has learned to play Jimi Hendrix's famous guitar riffs from Voodoo Child, the old Hollywood Hogan theme song in the NWO. The Yetidore is a controversial figure on the sidelines as he tries to get involved with stunts to confuse and bamboozle the referees but he is a crowd-pleaser.

To be honest, I believe that the most exciting player in the league would be a potential two way player. This has been a highly requested feature, especially for the linemen on both sides of the ball. However, other than those two areas, they aren't as versatile, as they could only really serve as blocking TEs. No, what I'm going to focus on is a mix of wide reciever and linebacker. Think about it, with the wide reciever route running and hands they could play as any defensive back, and if you add a linebacker's speed and power to a wide reciever's shiftiness and hands, you have an excellent running back or tight end. Not to mention, this player could play their original positions as well! For my two players, I decided to go with two of the top players at each position, pitter patter and thor dangerson. Patter is arguably the best wide reciever in the league right now, and is an all around excellent reciever, and with Dangerson's strength and tackling, the only thing this player couldn't do (to a moderate degree) is QB! (yes i do believe they could be a decent blocker, and especially DE as they are required to be more athletic.

It’s easy to find a team or player good at one thing, and another team or player good at the opposite thing, and simply choose to mash them together. But I want to do something different. I want to give some representation to the football sickos out there who tune in week-in and week-out to watch the worst game each week just to see what barely passes as “football” played out on the field. With that in mind you might be confused. “Isn’t that impossible this year? You need 2 different things to make this prompt work, but the worst team in the league is Orange County and it’s not close? Nobody combined with them could make them worse right?” Well that’s where you’re WRONG. Yes, OCO is up there with some of the worst teams in league history, but there’s one unit this season that outclasses even them. The expansion squad that looks at the 1890 version of the game we love and thinks “ugh, too modern” that unit is of course the Berlin offense. Take their inability to move the ball, and combine it with OCOs lack of talent on defense or special teams, and you will have something truly horrifying on your hands.

In the ISFL, there are two fish- themed franchises, namely Honolulu Hahalua and Sarasota Sailfish. So naturally, it would be very interesting to mash up those two mascots to create an ultimate fish. A Hahalua, more commonly known as a manta ray, is a large, kite- shaped fish that usually preys upon shellfish and other creatures that live in ocean bottom. On the other hand, a sailfish, while also being a predator, mainly preys upon regular fish using is fast swimming. So if we combine those two, we'll get a huge fish with a manta ray's 'skirt' protruding in either side, with a very long tail. And using both manta ray and sailfish's swimming mechanics it would be able to swim very fast, while inducing terror into ocean wildlife. While this frankenstein of a maritime creature will horrify many people had it existed in real life, it will be the best mascot for a team as it strikes fear into the heart of its opponents.
