As an offensive lineman, there is no padlocking the pantry for J.T. Kurbis. In fact, the pantry must stay just as active as the regular season so that Kurbis can keep that weight on. 300+ pounds doesn’t come lightly, especially when you are on a massive strength training plan. The pantry is well stocked, pancake batter, syrup of all shapes and sizes, chocolate chips, blueberries, blackberries, bananas, whatever pancake condiment your heart desires can be found in the Kurbis pantry, year round. On the conditioning side, strength conditioning is a must, hitting the gym daily keeps the pounds on but also keeps the pounds off. The Wraiths have great team facilities that Kurbis can use while in Yellowknife, and while away in his home state of New Jersey, Kurbis has many different gyms that suit his needs. Overall, the offseason involves constant work for all ISFL players, and Kurbis is no exception. There are no cutting corners in football!
It's not everyday your player gets up and grinds it out, especially during the offseason. Here we are again though Doc Fireball. As he waits for the season to start, he stays as a creature of habit. Typically his offseason goes the same way every year, not this year, no Doc took a different approach this time around. He decided to take a hike and get away from it all. He made the decision to rent an RV, nothing crazy just a simple little trailer he can sleep in, then took a trip to the Grand Canyon. He found a nice place to climb at the top of Havasupai Falls, then every day he would hike down to the bottom, go swimming for a couple hours, then hike back out. This helped to get his mind right, centering himself and allowing him to mentally and physically prepare for the upcoming season which should be a huge season for Philly and the squad.
Bonzi Buddy does so many thing that are doing to get strong and i believe that i think is that some pretty obvious thing that bonzi does it that he makes sure too keep a healthy diet in the off season he eats 5 dozen eggs cause he is roughly the size of a barn. When he was a lad he only had 4 dozen eggs every morning to help him stay strong. He does alot of other stuff outside of that but the other things he does is he works out like a mad mad man so he need too do work out by pulling muscles and we think that we are doing the crazy thing but lifting cars and stuff which shows the stregths of bonzi buddy and i think that it something that i believe will help bonzi becomes a solid player in the year this year which should be exciting too see
As McAlister made his way through the offseason, he faced the massive task of keeping in shape for the impending season. In order to do this he decided to just keep playing football year round, from rec leagues, to even the professional copycat leagues that pop up every year to try and capitalize on the few months that there is no ISFL football. Besides the weekly football that never stops year round, McAlister also only allows himself one cheat day on his food, but it doesn't matter that much, as to be able to keep his 6'4" frame in shape he is already eating over 3000 calories a day to maintain his muscle and game improvements through the seasons. The only thing he does completely different than the other athletes of his caliber is to use the jugs machine for an hour after waking up and going to sleep, in order to think like a WR when the season finally comes around, and be able to jump it when he reaches for the ball.
My offseason usually starts out the same every season by me eating a ton of my favorite foods. I have always been a big guy but to be an elite nose tackle like I know I can be, I need to be even bigger. From the time that the clock strikes 00:00 after the final game of the season until the last week of training camp you will almost always find me with food in his hand. Burgers, Pizza, Ribs, Steak, you name it and I am eating it. Part of the reason I eat so much in the offseason is because I actually tend to lose a lot of weight during the season because of how much energy I am using every week during the games. If I did not bulk up I would be no bigger than your average defensive end by the final game and that isn't going to help when you are as deep in the trenches as I am going up against those fat offensive linemen.
If you know anything about those big boys in the trenches, it’s that they love to eat, get big, and get pancakes. Brandon takes that to heart. He heads back home during the off-season to be with family, but mostly to get those nice and hearty home cooked meals. And by meals, he means pancakes. Normal pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, birthday pancakes, really any kind of pancake, except any with fruit because that’s a disgrace to pancakes. To get pancakes you have to eat pancakes, right? Then to make sure he is staying in physical shape, he follows Liver King social media and performs the same exercises. Brandon makes sure he can do whatever he does, but MORE! This is the recipe to his success on the field. This type of off season preparation is unmatched and gets you in the right mindset when the time come to square up with the enemy.
