Fights happen a lot in Yellowknife. It’s cold during training and sometimes to warmup the coaches want a bit of fire in the players and so start rumours behind players backs to get them to have a scrap. A good old fashioned scrap is nothing to be afraid of but sometimes tempers get a bit too heated. That’s where Patrik Money is brought in. As a DT, he’s one of the largest boys in the team and can easily hold 2 scrapping WRs away from each other with each of his hands. However sometimes the peacemaking nature of Money makes him a target for more fights. While he has the size to deal with most of the team, he’s a gentle giant and doesn’t have the personality to really scrap. That’s where he brings in the help of new Yellowknife RB, Jay Cue Jr. While he doesn’t have the size of Money, he has the ferocious and cunning nature needed to help Money out where size isn’t the issue. Cue Jr. has been asked to stop pipe bombing his teammates cars or snowmobiles, but apart from that, he’s allowed to terrorise the other players as rookie hazing was pretty harsh this season. It’s really given him the drive to go with his insane personality that should make him go far in the ISFL.
