To put a unique spin on this assignment, rather than a broad full league look, I want to look at the midseason all-rookie offense; some positions are more sparse than others here, but there are enough players to field a full, viable roster.

I went ahead and picked 11 total players for the defensive side of the ball. It’s mostly 2 players at each position (safeties got screwed a bit), with 1 guy as the wildcard selection.
Up front I went with Defensive ends Medicinal Toberlarone and Bean Beanman. The former leads DE’s in tackles and has numbers across the board, while the latter leads with 5 sacks and has been impactful with FFs. The fat bois round out with DT’s Chuck Roth and my own Honky Tonk Hawyood. Both players stand out at the position in counting stats, easy selections. The linebacking core is always tough, so deep. I went with Guy Fields, who is just a do-it-all guy. Excellent in coverage. I also took Gary Goodman, who has been a beast in the backfield with 9 sacks. For my wildcard selection I also grabbed Rusty Rucker, who has forced 5 fumbles. He hits like a Mac truck and I’d like to reward that. In the secondary I took Willie Miller, the league-leader in INTs and passes defensed, as well as Doy Fieri, who has been everywhere this season for the impressive Liberty. (191 words) ![]() |
