Now I will give you my completely unbiased and totally true take on the team of the half season and anyone who says otherwise is a fool:
QB - Jackie Daytona - this debonair, handsome cad of a quarterback may now have the best stats (probably in truth the 4th best stats) but he gets in on style value, after all what an amazing guy he is an who else really deserves this spot? RB - Zoe Watts - she is leading the league for combined rushing and receiving yards and as she is heading into the twilight of her career she is playing like her hair is on fire, a true potential RBotY for sure. WR - Bayley Cowabunga - the speed of a hound and the grace of a turtle, what more could you want from a wide receiver I ask you. Plus Bayley has been hawling in the touchdowns this season to boot. TE - Player Eighty-One - I think this is there name now, and you need a TE with style and when you can't find one this guy will do!
QB - Malcom savage - I mean why not take the former MVP from last season who is still racking up crazy numbers this season. Had a tough game against the Pythons but other than that has been an unstoppable force this season.
RB - Miracle Whip - 5 yards average a carry with 100 attempts. The consistency is there and they are being productive in the short yardage. They also do not have trouble getting into the end zone with 4 TD's in 7 games so it is someone you can trust. WR - Johnny Patey - Yes I am choosing myself, simply because I am a massive end zone threat with 8 TD's in 7 games and burning opposing CB's with my amazing route running. WR - Malcador the hero - A threat in the endzone and also a deep threat. Hero can do it all with 6 TD's this season and they have been getting long yardage when put against the top corners in the league, why not put them on this team. TE - Mark goodhead - I have not seen much of this player but as a tight end averaging 18.4 yard per catch is crazy as a tight end and they will also be a big body presence in the endzone, already racking up 6 TD's this season. LT - Mrs stacks mchits - One of Savages current linewoman who keeps him safe day in and day out. Currently with 22 pancakes and 0 sacks allowed. LG - Beeg Beeg Yoshi - Only 1 sack allowed this season but has 30 pancakes, one of the league leaders in destroying the defensive line. C - Mauler Panda - Only 21 pancakes this season but 0 sacks allowed and it's someone you need to trust in the middle of your line which Savage definitely does. RG - IMA WARCRAFTFAN - 24 pancakes and only 1 sack given up, Savage will be very safe with this guard leading him down the field. RT - Clifford Wilson - The pancake leader from a couple seasons ago and also winner of OLOTY so why not get him to destroy exterior defenders.

Some of my team of the midway point on offense in the ISFL is:
QB - Dexter Zaylren Dexter has been going crazy this year throwing for 26 tds and only 2 ints with a passing rating of 112.9 the highest out of all the qb's by a decent amount. He is also 5th in passing yards throwing for 2983 yards while also having one of the highest comp pct. He is doing this with having the best RB in the league too. It's a no brainer here RB- Goat Tank Tank has been crazy good this season with 1018 rushing yards and 8 tds in 10 games!! He is averaging 100 yards a game which only 1 other rb in the league is doing with him. He is also doing this while having a decent amount less carry attempts. He should continue to shine WR - Tugg Speedman Speedman has not disappointed at all this season with having 1152 yards, 74 catches, and 6 touchdowns in only 10 games. Like goat this means he is averaging over 100 receiving yards a game and 15.6 yards a catch. I only see him doing better and better as the season goes on.
QB - Dexter Zaylren is the obvious choice, 26 Touchdowns to only 2 interceptions? that is an absolutely insane statline, a 112.9 qbr on top of that is just straight up insane. averaging almost 300 yards per game and a completion % of 64.5 is marking him in the top half of the game aswell, but its that insane td int ratio holy crap
RB - Goat tank, many ppl wrote him off after getting traded to Berlin, but holy hell, hes one of 2 players over 1k yards, aka 100 yards/game, for now, but did so with only 191 attempts compared to the 275 of dinozzo. that puts him at 5.3 yards per carry which is super strong and basically puts him worlds ahead is the top RB of this season so far WR - Tugg Speedman so far is averaging over 110 receiving yards / game, racking in 74 total catches which is the second highest in the league only trailing delacour by 1. hes leading all WRs by more than 140 yards total which is a pretty damn strong showing. Another shoutout at WR is going to QUick, having by far the highest yards per catch of the league, while simutaniously having the second most yards in the league. 209 words
I jump at any chance to talk DSFL! Let's do a DSFL mid-season All-Pro defensive lineup!
DE: Caleb Watt (20 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 FF, 1 FR, 3 sacks) DT: @mcgriddleluverArnie Rufus (21 tackles, 6 TFL, 3 sacks) DE: @2LzyDoc Fireball (16 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 FF, 1 sack) LB: Mason Jones (25 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 FF, 3 sacks) LB: @g2019Sconnie McHits (35 tackles, 2 TFL, 4 sacks) LB: @GreenbaynathanNathan Claflin (31 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 INT, 4 PD) LB: Senbyo Korin (32 tackles, 5 TFL, 2 sacks) CB: Doc Holliday (21 tackles, 1 FF, 2 INT, 6 PD, 1 TD) CB: @"vulfgravy"Modern Nazgul (25 tackles, 1 FF, 1 INT, 4 PD, 1 TD) S: Siaosi Multiauaopele (25 tackles, 1 FF, 1 sack, 1 PD) S: Lance Witt (21 tackles, 1 sack, 1 PD) This is a stout defensive unit and I plan to say most of these guys on awards ballots, on the All-Pro team, and in the Pro Bowl! On the defensive line, Watt and Fireball have been great at getting to the quarterback, but Rufus is the headliner, as he's absolutely destroying offensive linemen so far this season. The linebacking corps is great at wrapping up ball carriers, getting to the quarterback, and making other impact plays as well, and this group is headed by Claflin, who seems like an early candidate for Defensive Player of the Year after being voted Linebacker of the Year last season. Finally, in the secondary, Holiday and Nazgul already have taken interceptions to the house early this season, with Multi and Witt quietly doing a heck of a job at the safety spots. |
