This is a hard topic to write to, especially as a relative loner in the league. I love my fellow Otters and will cheer them all on gameday, but off the field I like to have my space and keep up the peace and quiet. I like to spend my personal time with my spouse and kids, and if I can help it, not really think about football. It's a big burden that I take seriously, and work/life separation is important.
That said, I've always felt a kinship with my fellow offensive linemen in the league, especially the players in my draft class, Fortified Fridge and Remi Musgrave-Smythe. I like to talk to them a few times per season, talk a little trash, and secretly root for them when they aren't playing Orange County. On the Otters, I've gotten close with young Quarterback Lloyd Bannings, it's important to keep him protected and feeling safe so that he can run the offense. It helps to stay in sync so that the offense can run smooth as well.
