You relate this situation to Manning in Denver which is so odd. For one, Manning spent more than two and a half seasons in Denver. Number two, Manning took the Broncos to two Super Bowls, winning one. Kamaka's impact took you to two conference championships in a weak conference, winning none.
And yeah, I'd rather take Bly and Kamaka over Ludvig and the second which was used for Lejune, if that's what your asking. Bly and Kamaka made us one of, if not the best defense in the league, and we were contending for a playoff spot with a rookie QB. Bly and Kamaka were used to soften the fact that we had a rookie QB and that she'd be making a lot of mistakes.
I'm confused by these two comments. In the first one, you chastise the Yeti for trading for a player that helped to lead them to the playoffs, but not winning any championships. That's a fair argument, and although I don't agree with it, I understand it. However, the wheels fall off later in your argument. You defend the trade for Bly and Kamaka because it made you a better team. No doubt that is true, but it didn't get the Liberty into the playoffs. Doesn't that make it equal to the Kamaka trade? It made the Liberty a better team, but in the end, nothing came from it. I don't see how you can reprimand a team for a trade that had the exact same outcome as a trade that you applauded.
