Next year: The Palm Beach Solar Bears, or whatever the team will be after the re branding, will win the Ultimini. The team is run by extremely competent GMs who inspire their players to stay active and pick well. They will most likely have multiple send downs next year who will be ahead of the curve compared to everyone else. All the other teams besides Norfolk will most likely stay around the same strength as they will have many players playing on their NSFL teams due to their high TPE levels. Norfolk will get stronger compared to this last year because they will have another draft to fill out their roster that was spare due to only having one draft to build a whole team as well as keeping send downs. The Solar Bears' quarterback will also be significantly better this next year having another season under his belt to earn TPE. Since the offense was the weakness of the Solar Bears this last season and the quarterback position having such a high TPE requirement to be efficient. The defense will most likely retain some of its talent as this draft class has a surplus of defensive talent that NSFL teams may not need on day 1.
Robbed: The Palm Beach Solar Bears were robbed this year of making the playoffs. Our quarterback Apollo Lange is a running quarterback. The simmer, no offense to him, didn't realize this and didn't check the "running quarterback" box in the sim that makes it so that the quarterback is more likely to run. Because of this the Solar Bears had multiple games early on where they threw upwards of 3 interceptions, sometimes even 5! Apollo Lange's attributes are much more suited for running than high volume passing and because the sim did not allow him to run as much as he should have he was forced into a role that he was not meant for. Many of these high interception games were still close because of the defense. Had Lange been able to run more the offense would have been much more efficient and would not have turned the ball over nearly as much. It would not be a stretch to say that Palm Beach would have won most of those games adding 3 or 4 wins for them. It also has a bigger impact on team moral. Had the Solar Bears won those games, we may have had less inactives. Having less would have improved the team overall and put them in a better spot to contend and even make the playoffs in their first year as a human team.
