5) Spotlight on Youth - Only task that is specifically for the NSFL and not DSFL
Written: Write 200 words on one of the players in this year's Ultimus Week that are Season 12 or newer and spotlight on how they can affect this year's Ultimus. (Or have affected)
Graphics: Create a graphic of a Season 12 or newer player with a statistical breakdown on their season.
Let's talk about the unsung heroes of the NSFL, the kickers. Neo Donaldson is a season 12 player that had a massive impact on the San Jose Ultimus win this season. While winning handily 36 to 24 seems like they had it under control the entire time, let's focus on what kind of impact that kicker actually had. San Jose scored three touchdowns, that's 12 points. Philly also scored 3 touchdowns. The difference in points came from the trust San Jose had in the leg of Donaldson. He sank 5 field goals during this game. And these weren't chip shots either, Donaldson was booting these from 30+ and 40+. He sank every FG he had in front of him and every XP and the kind of confidence they had in him for that led to the next part.. Now I know what you're thinking, what about the punts? Well they had no punts. That's right, SJS never punted the ball in the Ultimus. When you're staring at a 45 yard FG in a 1 score game do you go for the kick or boot it to the 1 yard line and hope your defense can get a good stop? San Jose goes for the kick, and gets it.
7) Next year
Written: If your team has been eliminated, why will next year, or the year after that, be the year that your team is going to win the Ultimus or Ultimini.
Graphics: Create a statistical summary of what improvements your team has made from the previous year or why your team was better than their record.
Season 16 is going to be the year of the Wraith once again. While everyone is going to be scrambling to recover from the expansion draft stealing all their players Yellowknife is going to be sitting with a rockstar young roster ready to compete that season and go for it all. They will have Cooter Bigsby with 700 TPE or more at that point, the elite young QB will be ready. They will have several wide receivers with 800ish TPE. They will have an elite running back with probably 1000 TPE. The defense will be no slouch either, with guys like Selich, Bakshi, and Snuggles plus all the young draftees from the amazing S15 draft class there will be nothing else like it in the NSFL when the season 16 wraiths step onto the field. There will be high flying air attacks. There will be ground n pound rushing attack. There will be playmaking defensive backs snatching balls and monstrous defensive linemen mauling quarterbacks. The Wraiths will stomp all over perennial contenders like Baltimore, San Jose, and Orange County like they aren't even there. The expansion teams won't know what hit them. Colorado might still suck. Winter is Coming in Season 16 and the North Remembers.
11) Sit-down with a star
Written: Interview a player from a team that is not your own that is in the playoffs. You must ask them four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way. YOU MUST POST THE QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS FOR CREDIT.

1) How does it feel to join a dream team like the Season 14 Hawks only to see them lose in a first round playoff home upset to your old team?
It hurts, no doubt about it. We worked all year and we all put up an incredible season, but seeing us fall short of getting to the big game was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, the better team won. We just have to run it back and finish stronger next year.
2) In a prior season following a very emotional loss with Philadelphia's kicker Kulture Fulture missing the game winning kick you voiced some serious doubts about his ability. With him kicking the game winning FG with 19 seconds to go in this year's playoff win do you feel he redeemed himself to Philadelphia fans?
Well I never attacked him personally like some people want to believe. I was pissed at the refs for some of the calls they were making in that game. The very fact that it even came down to a FG was disappointing and we should have won that game outright. Like I said I never attacked Fulture and I see him as a fantastic kicker.
3) After an outstanding season with over 1500 yards and 16 TDs, including a 125 yard and 2 TD playoff stat line do you think Marquise Brown can top himself next season?
Absolutely. Plenty more where that came from. I’m still at the tip top of my game and I’m improving every single day. The wheels ain’t falling off any time soon.
4) What is the future like for the Baltimore Hawks and how do they plan to keep in contention?
Like I said, we’re gonna run it back next year and get ourselves and the city of Baltimore a ring. Beyond that is up to the organization, but I hope I’m a part of the future.
