The offseason is often a time to recuperate from the punishment the regular season inflicts on a player, and even more so when their team goes on a deep run in the playoffs. And yet, the man known as RESPECT didn't spend a single second licking his wounds. Fresh off a humiliating defeat to rivals Yellowknife, Ahri spent every waking moment of his offseason trying to wash out of his mouth the bitter taste of disappointment. Jugs machines, route drills, hell, he even saw a shaman in Eastern Asia to work with him on his center and balance. Anything he could do to improve, since a loss in the NSFC Championships was simply not good enough. He changed his diet to incorporate more aminos acids and proteins into his daily meals, in the hopes it would make him more explosive and harder to tackle. He spent an entire month breathing with a plugged nostril, to increase intake efficiency, and then the next month with the other nostril plugged. He ran through the homeless part of Pittsburgh, holding nothing but a greasy cheeseburger and a sack of change totaling $200 in order to increase his hand strength and ball security. For AE, the offseason was not a time to recover and reflect on the past, but a time to become more dominant for the successes of the future.
