I have been an NFL Fan for a very long time. Though I am a Jets fan now, I have always been fond of and followed the New Orleans Saints. Everything about the organization down to the color scheme is incredible. And who better to lead their team than Drew Brees. The man has been defying odds since his debut. Traded from the chargers in 2006, he began his prolific career as one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game. The highlight of his career being his Super Bowl win in 2010 against the great Peyton Manning. His heart and desire to win is apparent. There have been years where he carried the saints literally by himself. He has been getting weapons slowly over the past few years, and he is finally in a position where the saints have the capability to win it all. He is an incredible example of how to be professional on and off of the field. He's an amazing athlete and an incredible husband and father. He is a highly respected player for his undeniable skill and sportsmanship. He is coming to the end of his career, and I can say with confidence that his retirement will be an incredibly sad day for me and the Saints organization. I have enjoyed watching him play the game of football, and I look forward to all that he will continue to accomplish off the field in retirement!
