Doesn't matter what level of football you're talking about; punters get no love. As of this writing, there is only one special teams player in the NSFL Hall of Fame (the great Turk Turkleton). However, did you know that there is a player who actually has more Punter of the Year awards than Turkleton? His name is Dean Jackson. Jackson is the record holder with an unmatched 4x NSFL Punter of the Year awards. He was also the S6 NSFL Kicker of the Year and an 8-time Pro Bowler. If you want to talk about statistics, Jackson has the record for the highest single game punting average (65 yards) and the record for career punting yards (46,017), and he is second overall in career field goals made. He has almost everything you're looking for in a Hall of Fame resume in terms of individual awards and massive statistics. The only thing he doesn't have is a championship, but I mean, let's be real...if you're punting that much, your team is probably bad.
I don't think there is anybody that would deny that Dean Jackson is in the top 2 or top 3 best special teamers of all time in the NSFL (along with Turkleton and the still-active Kulture Fulture). Put this guy in the Hall. As Sam Koch, Pat McAfee, and Johnny Hekker would say: "Punters are people too!"

"I don't care too much what happened in the past. I prefer to focus on what is coming next and I'm really looking forward to it."
