From his days at Ohio State, Greedy Sly got used to putting up monstrous stats. Considered by many pundits to be a potential Heisman candidate, Greedy put on a show during his time with the Buckeyes. Slated to be one of the top picks in the DSFL draft, it surprised no one when Greedy was selected by London with the first overall pick. However, unfortunately for London, Greedys stats didn’t quite translate from college to the DSFL. Some have cited a faster game from college to the DSFL, others have suggested that perhaps Greedy wasn’t ready for the mental level of the game. Certainly he was a physical specimen, but his mental acumen fell short of DSFL standards. This became wildly apparent during his NSFL combine where he scored top marks across all the physical tests, but dead last in the wonderlic. His first season with the Royals saw him fall short of any awards or accolades, and his second season was much the same…. Some might say even more disappointing. Luckily for Greedy things are looking up now in the ISFL, as he’s in DRotY talks for his performances with Colorado. Now through the midway point in the season he’s got it all to play for, but he’s certain to be in the conversation.
