The main idea I had to add to the DOTTS system, if the goal is to take money out of circulation, is to have tiered packs of cards. Perhaps this can be done by making certain card types rarer than they are now, or simply make different packs for expensive. The main crux is to have packs that possess better chances at pulling higher tiered cards. Maybe keep the base pack at 500K, but also add an option that has a 90% chance to pull an awards card, but only contains one card, so they don't add up too quickly. Or maybe you could limit certain packs to only being pulled at certain times. To use this hypothetical "awards" pack, perhaps this could only be purchased once or twice a week, as opposed to the base pack, which you can buy one of every day. This both incentivizes earning money to purchase better packs with better card chances, but also limits just how many will be pulled, so the market is not simply dominated by those with the most cash. My only other idea would be to allow for cards to be exchanged among users for in-universe cash, so if I wanted to I could pay the person who pulled my card $10M for that card. But that is less likely to happen than my previous idea.
