As seems to always be the case (since i've been around, at least), Arizona is right in the middle of the playoff race. We caught the short end of the stick last season, finishing in a four way tie for first place and missing out on the playoffs due to some (presumably obscure) tie breaker. And this season it appears we're in a similar spot, tied with the Honolulu Hahalua for the third playoff spot in the conference. We play the Hahalua at home in the last week of the season, so it's quite possible the playoff spot will come down to that. Our two remaining games are home games, so I reckon we've got a pretty good chance. But as we know, can't take that for granted. I do think much of our success, both getting into the playoffs and our success thereafter if we do make it, lies on our ability to protect the ball on offense. A lot of our games can be analyzed in terms of the turnover battle. Last game, for example, we lost a stinker to a (should be worse) Austin team and we lost the turnover battle pretty bad. If we can hold on to the ball and manage to force a few turnovers on defense, we should be golden and capable of making a deep run. i don't know if we can string together 4-5 games like that in a row though - we're capable of it on any given night but we seem to be plagued by inconsistency.
