The Luchadores have had a bit of a letdown of a season in Season 25. They were picked by many to be a strong contender for an Ultimini, but with only two games to go they're fighting for a playoff spot, only being two games up on Dallas. Luckily for the Luchadores, if either they win a game or Dallas loses a game they get to back into the playoffs.
The home field advantage has not been a real thing for Tijuana so far, as they are currently 2-5 at home, tied for worst in the DSFL. Their defense has been strong all season, but their offense has not been performing nearly as well as they did in Season 24, as they had to replace all three of their top WR's with picks in the draft.
Tijuana definitely improved their offense after the trade deadline, bringing in WR Preston Parker @TheDangaZone, Tight End Corey Steadman @crs._.graphics22, and OL Cheese Farley @Guriinwoodo, which paid off immediate dividends as the Luchadores posted their highest point total in a single game in Week 12 against the Seawolves, scoring 31, with QB Mike Boss Jr throwing three scores.
Tijuana will have a tough road ahead in the playoffs if they make it, but they have been consummate road warriors this season, going 3-2 so far (only London has more road wins). Lucky for them, defense travels well, and they're going to need defense in the playoffs.
