Have you heard about my man Dustin Evans? If you haven't yet, you should probably get used to the name. I'll admit, I have a personal connection to the guy as we were both Wide Receivers selected by the Arizona Outlaws in the Season 2 draft. The dude can play, and was putting up some serious numbers in the preseason but I think any of our teammates can tell you that it's just the tip of the iceberg with what he can do. He's the type of guy who will quietly push you to be better and better.
As if that weren't enough, the dude is a leader in the locker room -- and not even just our locker room: the league at large. The NSFL announced just a few days ago that he's going to be a Head Officer Member for the entire league, so not only is he running shit on the field he's going to be running shit off the field as well.
The Outlaws offense is revamped this season, and frankly it's not getting the respect it warrants -- and Evans is a huge part of that. Adding Tim Pest to give King Bronko the time he needs in the pocket is a deadly combo with the top 3 wide outs we have here in the desert. All in all, I believe Dustin Evans is due for a massive year. And if you see him collecting awards and accolades at the end of the season don't say I didn't warn ya.
