A Breakout Star is someone who goes from some other guy to a star in a flash. When you think about it, you think of players like Landon Collins, Jay Ajayi, or Terrelle Pryor. They went from guys who weren't on anyone's radar, to high profile NFL players. That's exactly what King Bronko is about to become.
Bronko spent last year as a WR3, and didn't get a lot of time, with just 400 receiving yards, and then decided to move to quarterback. In his two tryouts behind Draxel, he went 11/13 with a TD. He clearly has the potential, but a few drives in garbage time are far from clearing up all doubt.
Bronko has flown relatively under the radar and isn't really considered a top QB, but he has all the potential. We saw that in his few downs of play. But most importantly, his athleticism and IQ is top notch. He has the athletic ability to play almost every position, But also has mobility he gained from training as a wide receiver that makes him hard to take down. On top of that, his strength gives his a very strong arm among QBs. Bronko thinks he can win QBotY this year in his first year at the position!
