“You’re going to make me famous beyond the football world?” I ask inquisitively. “Yep, beyond your wildest dreams.”, the producer replied. “That’s uh, that’s literally the opposite of what I want.” I’ve never been a huge fan of all of the paparazzi following me around, and it’s weird having so many people checking up on every single post that I make on Twitter, snapchat, etc. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be, having all these eyes on you. I have to watch my every step, making sure I don’t mess up and say something that offends someone. Sometimes I offend people by saying something that I didn’t even realize was offensive. It’s exhausting, I’ve got to be honest with you. My agent insists that I really need to do this, to get my brand out there. The producer pitches multiple ideas to me, ranging from a simple dating show, to a reality show a la Kardashians. I finally relent - kind of. But only if we get to do it my way. The show may not be as flashy as my agent or the producer was hoping - they’re going to be making a “Hard Knocks” knock off, pun intended, about my football camp for kids that I put on every other weekend!
