I love draft PTs, and the draft in general! The most recent draft I've been involved in was actually just last offseason where my player was drafted first overall to the Honolulu Hahalua. This draft process was probably my most favorite ever. It was a small draft class, so I was able to have the undivided attention of almost everyone who scouted me. It seemed like everyone knew I was going to be the first overall draft pick except for me, so I had thought a lot about potential destinations. I viewed Honolulu as somewhat unlikely given their defense had let up over 31 points per game in the prior season, so I began to look elsewhere in the first round. I expected Philadelphia to show interest in me since my previous player was on the Liberty, and through draft conversations I learned that they did intend to draft me with their first pick. Conversations with Baltimore revealed the same. But before these two, I was very interested in the rest of the draft. I had very extensive conversations with Berlin, who talked about me fitting into the team's future, and I believe that I would have been the pick at 4 OA. I had a nice conversation with Colorado, though I don't believe it was special enough for the Yeti to have selected me as the "best available user" prospect. I have very little recollection of scouting conversations with SJS or OCO, but my talks with the Wraiths were fun and I did get the impression, similar to Berlin, that they intended to draft me. A subsequent conversation with a GM revealed I was their top overall prospect.
