Charlemagne Cortez is an incredibly honest person and so he would immediately alert the Outlaws payroll department that they had made a pretty major mistake. Also, being an MVP winning quarterback means that he really doesn't need the extra money, ya know? That may seem like it's a pretty big brag, but it's just the straight facts, jack. Hopefully, with GMs Crunk and Z knowing how honest and selfless he is, there may be some unforeseen benefit coming down the road in the future. Perhaps that four million will be worked into a future contract down the road, because you know I'm going to be resigning in Arizona. Cortez is definitely an Outlaw for life, you know, unless the guys upstairs that pay the bills decide otherwise. Perhaps this can also be spun into some sort of media story that will buy Charlemagne some sort of good will with the fans. He made need it because there is probably going to be a bad interception or poorly timed fumble coming down the pipe. I mean, listen: it's hard being a professional quarterback, for real. You have to build good will with the team and the fans every chance you get, so if you can have a story written about you saying how nice of a dude you are, all the better.
