These ISFL seasons seem to be coming and going quicker and quicker after every season. We are already onto the halfway point of Season 32 and my fifth season in the league. It feels like where we are in the season draft class oxbow, a lot of old player turnover is happening or has happened in the past couple of seasons and some players have lost a lot of TPE momentum as they drop lower and lower and others are on the recreate rebound and still pretty low. The emerging TPE group seems to be getting its flowers now as we get into peak Season 26/27 player seasons.
Let us see who would get some offensive honors if the season would start now:
The quarterback position is always going to have some extra yeti fingers pressing down the scale that is the air attack strategy. Mattathias Caliban leads almost every category (also includes interceptions) and should be the front runner for QB of the half.
This might be peak 26/27 player season, but it’s starting to look like peak GOAT TANK season. GT leads the category in rushing yards and touchdowns with 12. In week 3, GT ran for 312 yards in one game with 4 TDs and another TD through the air. GT? More like JT (Jonathan Taylor).
WR has to go to Tugg Speedman. Leading all WR in fantasy points scored, it’s hard to give the honors to anyone else.
Top TE of the half goes to Mario Messi. He has been a bright spot to that Sarasota team and continues to vacuum up the catches with 44 receptions and 354 yards!
OL is the backbone of any good offense and one player in particular has helped their team the most. Bruce Buckley of the Baltimore Hawks leads the league with 91 pancakes.
