After a long wait, the Baltimore Hawks are finally winning football games and are currently on track to reach the playoffs, the first in almost a decade, the first since season 23 where young Quarterback Chika Fujiwara chika-bombed Baltimore to a wildcard defeat. The hawks stand at 7-1 at the halfway point of the season, 3 games ahead of the 4th place team in the NSFC.
So far the team has been working great, the offence boosted by the addition of star wideout Sam the Onion Man has been on fire, scoring the 2nd most points in the league as well as the 2nd best rushing attack in the league with the fearsome Goose/King combo toting the football.
The defensive side of the football was boosted with the addition of Raeni Clarike at cornerback. Overall the defensive unit has been good so far allowing the 5th least amount of points per game and the 4th least amound of yards per game. This could improve in the latter half of the season to become a truly shutdown unit and guide the Hawks to the Ultimus.
The less we mention of the scrub kicker, the better.
