The Mount Rushmore for the New Orleans Second Line is a really tough thing to look at. Are we talking players or users? I actually think there is a lot of crossover between a player based mount rushmore and a user based mount rushmore. I'll start with JuOSu who not only has been a part of the Second Line for longer than any other user as far as I know, but helped bring the team back to relevance and continue to grow. JuOSu's first player, Julian O'Sullivan, was a beast of a linebacker and in the hall of fame. O'Sullivan was the defensive leader of a NOLA team that went to the Ultimus four times in a row and won twice. JuOSu's next player was of course the quarterback Stan Francisco that was a part of the third NOLA Ultimus in S21. Finally, JuOSu's third and current player is defensive end and sack expert Medicinal Toblerone. I didn't even mention that JuOSu took over for a while as general manager and helped build the team back up with an excellent S15 draft class that included the 3 other mount rushmore members.
Enter user Tom Hanks, whose first player, Forrest Gump, was an exceptional running back during a long career in New Orleans. He was a big part of the S21 championship as well and was the co-general manager with JuOSu for a while before stepping up into the full general manager role where he was able to build the Second Line into one of the better teams of the 20s. His legacy is still felt today even though he has since moved on with his second player, Sherriff Woody, who is a linebacker in Baltimore. Forrest Gump along with Marcella Toriki were an incredible one two punch in the backfield that was unmatched for a few seasons. Gump was incredible even late in his career and ended up getting inducted into the hall of fame. Tom Hanks was instrumental in scouting and finding the users that not only fit the Second Line locker room but would also help win on the field, which is why he is not only a member of the Second Line user Mount Rushmore but also the player one with Forrest Gump.
When I say the word Sloth many people in the ISFL know who I am talking about with one of my favorite users and the next Second Line Mount Rushmore user and player. Slothfacekilla was also drafted in S15 along with Tom Hanks and his first player, Jimmy Slothface, was a beast of a linebacker. His player was on what I think was a hall of fame trajectory before Sloth made the selfless decision to retire early in order to create a quarterback that would replace an aging Stan Francisco. Also, despite not really wanting to do it, Sloth stepped up and was co-GM for a few seasons when no one else wanted to do it. His second player like I said was a QB by the name of Ben Slothlisberger and he was a beast that helped get the Second Line to two Ultimus games in a row. Unfortunately, we lost both of those, but still getting there is a huge accomplishment.
The last user and player in the Second Line Mount Rushmore is TerribleHippo whose first player was also drafted in the S15 class. He was a linebacker by the name of Quenton Bode and he was an absolute beast. By the time Bode retired he led the league in tackles in a career by a ridiculous margin. Bode was a beast on the field and Hippo was a beast in the locker room always being around and helping out.
