Rookie minicamp was a ton of fun, as someone else already spoke about, we decided to go on a camping trip to the beach instead of a traditional training camp here at Norfolk. That doesn’t mean we did not practice though; it was just more fun and lighthearted. We ended up playing some beach football and I got to mostly cover @infern8 which was a ton of fun. We are both really competitive and pretty evenly matched. He pushed me to be better at the catch point while I forced him to become a better route runner. In the end, even if I didn’t “lose” to him, I didn’t win hard enough either, which means that training camp taught me I still have a long way to go. But the best part of Rookie minicamp was just meeting everybody new who I didn’t get a chance to talk to when I was on waivers. This team is a family, and as we were making smores on that last night of camp I knew I would fight like hell for every single person there.
